To all
There are not advantages to be gained. It's just an automatic action, like checking to see what is prized. If you do it, fine, if you don't then whatever. Don't force your play style on others.
Surely you have to have been trolling this entire time. But to make sure people don't believe your horrible propaganda:
There is an Advantage to be gained, or a Disadvantage to be had. In both cases, this should be enough for you to say "Hang on, 'declumping' is wrong."
Advantage: You have manually changed the order of the cards in your deck. Without use of a card effect might I add. To you this may not be cheating, but it is. You're attempting to manipulate probability where
you should not be doing so. Of course, you would respond with the argument "Once I shuffle the deck, all the declumping I've done won't matter anyway" (And yes, I've seen multiple people type this).
Which brings me to the
Disadvantage: By acknowledging the fact that all the declumping you did won't matter, then it serves no purpose to do so, correct? Therefore, you are wasting time - i.e,
Stalling, and potentially disadvantaging your opponent, thus giving you an upper edge (As it were, you'd be getting an Advantage! See what I did there?).
In either case, whether you are manipulating probability when you shouldn't be, or stalling, it's
Cheating!
