Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

MP Birch's CCs~BIG NORTH TEXAS & OKLAHOMA WEEKEND:January 20-21

****Mesquite~City Championship @ "Insanity Cards & Games"****

The "Start Time" for the "Mesquite~City Championship" is 12:00 noon. That means that the City Championship will start at that time.:nonono: The doors will open at 10:00am for registration and deck checks.:cool: If you are late, you may play but will be given a first round loss. MP birch just wants you to understand that 12:00 noon is NOT when registration begins.:mad:

Have those decks ready to go as this will be the first "Premier Event for Pokemon-TCG at "Insanity Cards & Games". MP Birch was there on Sunday for the Pokemon League and the new store is really shaping up very nicely!!!:thumb: :thumb:

We hope to see you there this Saturday, December 9, 2006 for all of the fun and excitement!!!:clap: :clap:

That was a great tourney everyone! Thanks Birch

Well done Jr. Don't think it'll happen again though :smile:

That was seriously the most intense set of matches I've ever had. I hope we can meet in top cut again.

I'll see everyone on Saturday!

10 am ? I didn't hear anyone say anything about a GBA tourney.

Thats becuase MPB isnt running them anymore. That part of the Pokemon scene is left up to Nintendo (IE: JAA).

Hoping to see quite a few players this Saturday at the Midwest City City Championship tournament as well.

Doors will open at 10 & as soon as I can dig them out, you can register & start filling out your deck list to have it & your deck checked. As above. if you are late you can still play but will get a loss for the rounds you miss. We want to get started in a timely manner here as well.

Congrats to my son, Ambious Zero, for winning at Ft. Worth's CC.

A nicely ran tournament & good job on the judging.

I was hoping that you would post about the "Midwest City~City Championship". Oklahoma Pokemon players, you will be in hands with "old man" & company running this event for you. Have fun and good luck to all of the players that will be attending!!!

~~~Email From Boyd H....Directions~~~
Below is the email that I received from Boyd Highlander. Boyd lives in Tom Bean.
Richard,
I would suggest -
8) At the stop sign, look across the street to your right. You can
park
behind City Hall, or, park behind/beside/in front of the bank (across
the
street to your left).
They should NOT get on FM 2729 south. There will be a sign for 2729
south
before you get to the city hall. Anyone going down that road may need
a GPS
to get out.
If anyone is coming from the north (Oklahoma)
1) Take U.S. 75 through Sherman.
2) Take the exit for FM 1417.
3) From the left lane, turn left to go over the overpass (now on FM
1417).
4) FM 1417 dead ends into State Highway 11. Vear right onto SH 11.
5) Once into Tom Bean, turn right at the blinking light (Britton street
in
downtown Tom Bean).
6) Go one block, the City Hall will be in front of you to the left.
7) Parking as above.
There is a grocery store/gas station one block north of City Hall, at
the NW
corner of SH 11 and Britton street. I talked to the manager Monday and
she
said that the sell pizzas, sub sandwiches and hamburgers on on Sunday.
Looking forward to Sunday.
Boyd
Thank you, Boyd for the additional information.
