Shawn Michaels took time off to get a knee surgery done. He was putting that surgery off for a long while. The thing with Randy Orton, was just a work to get HBK off of tv, so he could get that surgery.

According to various Wrestling News sites, Ric Flair has quit the WWE! Apparently he gave his notice around 8/21.

Ryan, I was just about to post that info. It's sad to see Flair leave, but they haven't put him on the Main event status in a while. To add to this, however, Flair does not have a no-90 day compete clause, meaining he would either go to TNA, or to any independent promotions (I have a feeling he's going to retire).
 
Ric no longer has the stamina to battle well anymore. I think the only move he uses now is the chop, leg ram ( from behind) and the submission move.

MAJOR UPDATE!!! In a recent interview with Ric Flair on a radio Talk Show, they asked Flair if he really quit the WWE. Flair laughed and then said it was NOT true, and jokingly said, what would the WWE do without him?

Also, if it's not mentioned here already, Hornswoggle McMahon!!! That was the most hilarious thing I've seen in the WWE. I can't say if this is either good or bad, but it's the most funniest thing since DX Imitated the Nation of Domination in 1998, but that's my opinion.
 
why has the boogyman not been on ecw recently he is hilarious but he is a terrible wrestler. i know wrestleing is fake and all but why doesnt john cena just kill ortan
 
Robert Huffman aka Booker T or King Booker, has reportedly quit the WWE. He received a 60 day suspension from the Online Pharmacy thing that is going on. He was unhappy about it, and put in his notice. WWE is in talks with him, to bring him back after his 60 days, but it seems like Booker may not come back.

Flair on the other hand, looks like he will be back.

Also, today WWE.com has reported that WWE has released Sandman.
 
Hornswoggle as the McMahon Heir was a waste of six weeks worth of storyline. Especially if he still portrays that stupid leprechaun gimmick.

Seems Kennedy has missed two big pushes. :frown:

i really wanna see stone cold makes a return and join forces w HHH to wreck Mcmahon up !:biggrin: I was still young during stone cold "era", it would be fantantic to see him in RAW.
 
I don't think he's medically cleared to wrestle anymore. It was painfully evident during the Stone Cold Commissioner era that he couldn't really do anything inside the ring anymore. He's still an amazing personality, though...

and i guess batista couldnt beat khali by himself to win back the title, idk if he even pinned khali to win back the title, since i didnt watch the PPV
