Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

quicktune vs banette (t2)

umm against each other its who goes first lolz which ever does will have a huge advantage. Bannette is a tad overrated, dont get me wrong, its a nice card, but like Prime said it should run with another certain line lolz On its own its too risky

Banette is VERY risky, and IMHO the best play isn't by itself. Banette needs more basics so it doesn't Ghost Head itself into getting KO'd on the opponent's next turn. So Banette has the edge that it is able to do good damage in any deck it is combined with. Kricketune doesn't have that gift.

I feel Kricketune is better when comparing solo builds, but Banette is better when comparing all tournament builds.
lol, thats what I would want you to do, is to ko my Banette...lol. T-2 Ghost Head will KO almost anything right now, cept the Chansey.(I am talking about decks that are generally played)

^^So can tune.

I'd say tune is better. Banette, from what I understand to be the strategy, usually wants to go like this:
T0: 2 shuppet
T1: attach to active, ascension
T2: attach to bench, ghost head, hope your active gets KO'd
T3: attach, find another banette, attack for 80

But after that, I get confused. At least with tune you are able to search for basics with tot's attack, and you're able to do 80 consistently.

kricketune, it can keep its 80 damage for consitantly espacially when you use rosanne's research and great balls

I never got how a Banette deck is supposed to keep pulling and discarding Bans. Also, has anybody ever considered that maybe your opponent will figure out that they shouldn't kill your Ghost Header because you have a Shuppet with an energy sitting on the bench?

Sure, and will give the opponent a free prize on their next turn too.

LOL thats exactly what I have bin thinking. Then you are stuck with a practly dead Banette active, with no nrg. Thanks for makeing sure that I can easily get ALL my tunes in play.

lol....and?
Also, if you run the right list, you can pull banette out of your deck once a turn, it isn't too hard at all. Also, if you don't ko my pokemon that just used Ghost head, then I will heal him completly then use the attack once again.
lol, everyone just keep finding the negatives in this deck, please underate this deck, so I can smash you:thumb::thumb:

such a SXC tech in this deck, I <3 that in here, thats one of the other ways I can be sure that my banette is koed.

There is no list that can pull a Banette from the deck every turn. If there such a list, people would play Kricketune instead for the guaranteed 80 T2 every game.

One of the biggest concepts of this game is luck and how you can't guarantee something.

You don't run 4 Celio, 4 PETM, and 4 Bebe, and 4 Quick Ball, so you can't guarantee you can pull a Banette out of the deck every turn.

Get over your deck. But good luck at Cities. If your list is so good, then you should have no problem going undefeated.

Your right on one point, not alot of Banette decks can get one out every turn, only thing I know of that is BANG and that is slower than Speed Ban and Banettech. You have to run for 4 celios and 4 balls, maybe he just gets his all the time.

add 4 more cards to the searching, and you got it:thumb:
Theres tons of room in this deck!!!
I am not saying that I have the best list, I know I don't ,but, I think it is really solid.

The problem with running SO MUCH pokemon search is that you end up continuously drawing into them when you need to draw into cards like Castaway or Roseanne to grab energy from your deck or tool cards. Or you end up not even drawing any more cards from your deck and it makes it close to impossible to get to cards you can't search for like Night Maintenance, Plus Power, Crystal Beach, etc, etc.

Again, good luck.
