This weekend I'm on a different computer. It's a laptop (Vista :eek:), and I haven't managed to make it boot from the EHD, although I did a Wubi (sort-of installing it as a program) install before, and it may have put some vital component on my usual desktop. I told it to boot from USB devices...

I'm trying to install Ubuntu Linux to my external hard drive, but the only way I can find is using Wubi. Is there a way to install it as if it was drive C:?
