    Prize Penalty Issue

How do you determine what category the deck falls into? If my deck contains a Gengar Prime tech, a Vileplume tech, and has dragons, what do I do?

    HGSS-on Eelzone (Eelektrik/Magnezone/Thundurus/Zekrom)

I need some advice finetuning this deck. The way I am thinking of playing this deck, I want Thundurus starts for faster energy acceleration. Pokemon (20) 4-2-3 Magnezone Prime 3-3 Eelektrik (2x 40hp 1x 30hp) 3 Thundurus 1 Zekrom 1 Cleffa Energy (13) 13 Lightning Energy Trainers...

Los Gatos, it's A Flying Gato Thing!

    you sure Drifblim does well?

Los Gatos, it's A Flying Gato Thing!

A few problems. 1. How do you make sure of Psychic Energy first turn? Because if you don't get it soon, you're screwed. Not everyone has a Cyrus for you to copy. 2. Personally I think Blaziken FB X is a better counter. Drifblim's attack is a whopping 3 energy, just to get the Dialga G off...

    GengarPlume: The Trainer Locking Duo!

Okay your match-ups are wrong. Luxchomp, whether 3-1 or 2-2, are favourable for Gengar. Trainer Lock isn't dealt with by Bright Look and Gengar runs 2 Vileplume just in case 1 dies. Dialgachomp is even. Sure they have resistance and DGX but 1. it's not easy to get DGX. 2. Under trainer...

    HGSS Triumphant

Stop theorymon! After you play Gengar/Mew then you will know that it isn't broken. There are so many ways around it, Stage 2, Stage 1 or SP. You could deny Gengar/Mew their draw for example with Judge or Looker, you could deny them a Pokemon to Lost Zone, and I have played against Gengar decks...

    Gyarados Reborn!

Do you need 3-3 Banette? 2-2 is more than enough.

    Gengar/Vileplume...

I told you, you can't cut Cyclone because it lets Umbreon wall, and if this deck becomes tier 1 then many WILL tech Umbreon.

    Dialgachomp; Galactic Domination.

I was writing that in the context of Unown G. Machamp Prime could tear down a guarded Dialga G X. Without that problem Machamp Prime becomes more of a non-SP weapon.

Speed scizor, The overlooked speed demon

That's what I was referring to. Unless Mr. Tyler can prove that he has been to Cities with this deck and gotten top 8 or more, then this article does not belong here. Personally I think articles only have to be good to be posted, but if this is the rules here, we must go by them. Mods, please...

Speed scizor, The overlooked speed demon

I thought in the guide rules, "The deck must have been in top 8 in an official tournament." Which one? Or are rules bent now? Then I might write up one myself...

    2010-8-28 UD Scizor 007

It is ok, if only Scizor Prime didn't have more HP, a Pokebody, and hits harder for both 2 energy and 3 energy. 1/10 because it's just worse.

    Spiriplume... need help with supporters...

I still don't like Copycat. There are cases when your opponent has a small hand (mostly at the beginning) and you need to draw cards. Then it sucks. You cannot take this risk, so use Looker/Professor Oak's New Theory. And, I found out that by adding 3 Rare Candy, 1 Luxury Ball and 2 Pokemon...
