    Vanilluxe (NXD) and Wobbuffet (PHF)

When you use the Ability, it creates an effect. The Wobbuffet becoming active prevents the Ability from being used, but does not prevent the created effect from continuing.

Player Responsibility For Tracking Prizes Drawn

It's both players' responsibility to keep track of the game state. I would likely let the player with the Tyranitar and the Palkia&Dialga carry more of it in this situation, since they're both changing the Prize count and playing off it, but the other player needs to pay attention too. In a...

    Full-Arts EXs and numbers

Proving your own point? :P "Lightning" is the energy card and "Electric" is the video game type.

Missplay leading to known cards put on top of deck.

Isn't the correct reaction to that not to escalate, but to remind the other player that they don't have to draw prizes for the penalty, and that it will be noted regardless?

Missplay leading to known cards put on top of deck.

Keep in mind that many rules are made for tournament play, with the assumption that a judge will be available to resolve incorrect situations. For casual and league play, there isn't always a judge available, so players have to resolve their mistakes themselves. With that in mind, in tournament...

Plasma Storm Reprint: Is the Charizard SR still a Misprint?

At some point I've heard that it was, but I don't recall when and I can't find any mention of it on the googles, so I could very well be mistaken.

Plasma Storm Reprint: Is the Charizard SR still a Misprint?

MP seems to be saying that there were two print runs of Plasma Storm and asking which of those that card is from; saying "it's from Plasma Storm" doesn't answer that question.

    De-clumping

Why should we dictate what players do with their decks between rounds? As long as they show up to the next round with a valid deck that they then properly randomise, it's their own business what they do with it in the meantime.

    Trump Card ban and Erratas

I think the main problem with your idea is that it's far too complicated, and you're putting a persistent effect on a card type - Trainer - that's better suited to effect a game state change and then be done. If you want to "save" LTC, go for a different instantaneous effect; if you want a...

    Trump Card ban and Erratas

They could've just changed the text to this: "Each player shuffles all cards in his or her discard pile into his or her deck. This card can't leave either player's discard pile."

    Giant Plant Forest + Forretress

Why not just play Forretress T2 before Dimension Valley? You don't need the damage there T1 anyway.

    Some special energy cards.

Torrent Energy Special Energy This card can only be attached to a :water: Pokémon. This card provides :water: Energy only while this card is attached to a :water: Pokémon. Attaching this card does not count as your Energy attachment for your turn. You may only attach one Torrent Energy during...

    Kingdra/double dragon energy issue

It is providing all Energy. Including water and electric. The attack doesn't say "discard an Energy that is only a :water: Energy [...]". As for that order of events, I don't see a problem. T1 is trivially legal; T2 consists of 1. Evosoda on a pokémon you can legally play it on, 2. Wally on a...

    jirachi from roaring skies

No. Once the pokémon leaves the active spot, all effects on it, including Doom Desire, go away.

    primal kyogre tidal storm attack

I don't see a reason why you can't attach them to the substitute. Once it's on your bench, it's a proper pokémon.

Sinister Suggestion + coin flip trainers

If my opponent uses Drowzee's Sinister Suggestion against me, can I play trainers like Pokémon Catcher, or would that be playing a card for no effect since I know I will flip tails? Drowzee: http://pokegym.net/gallery/displayimage.php?imageid=55766 Pokémon Catcher...

    Reading notes

I could see it happening if the players had very similar notebooks, and weren't good at keeping them on their own side of the table.

    Left handed and shuffling

Being right handed, I shuffle with my left hand holding my deck in place and my right hand moving my cards around. If I can see my cards while shuffling, I can just flip the deck while shuffling. That should be possible if you're left handed as well.

    Bonded Pokémon

Unfortunately, I may not be able to post any more of these for a while. The file's on a computer I need to avoid booting for now, since it's gone shoddy and I need to minimise the risk of permanently losing data. I'll revive the thread when I can access them again.

    Supporters and Play Area

I learned something new today then. I'll make sure to do it right from now on.
