Pokebeach just added Piplup. Really? It's an uncommon? I guess they want you to get all of them. Ursaring being somewhat powerful and the other cards being shiny.
 
Weird... commons, uncommons and super rares so far but no rares... kinda hard to gauge the overall power of this set yet. I do know I want that Reshiram as soon as February comes though, straight in the deck with you! FA Elesa would be nice, it's just a Department Store Girl reprint though. Either way I think this is going to be a great looking set even if the cards aren't that good.
 
Don't really know what the point of Rares would be in this set, honestly. All rares in Japan are holos and the uncommons in this set are already super shiny and sparkly.

Have you seen the Tools we'll have by the time we get this? Rock Guard, Life Essence, Float Stone, not to mention the Pokemon-specific Ace Specs. Even the Plasma Badge is worth searching for. Elesa will also be great in Garbodor decks, which I predict will be making a comeback in the next set or two.

In current decks Eviolite can make or break matches. Using a Supporter slot to get three tools is definitely a worthwhile tradeoff, in my mind. I may have to switch my Skylas back to Random Receivers once we get Elesa.

(But OH MAN is the inevitable FA Elesa going to be hard to find! I still haven't even managed to get a Skyla FA and Elesa's going to be worse...)
 
Yeah we will more than likely get FA Elesa. I think in that "Megalo Cannon" Genesect set, we will also get full art Hugh and Shadow Triad. Or something along those lines.
 
I think everyone missed Piplup and Torchic which Pokebeach just added. My favorite out of all of them is Shaymin because it looks good and is playable.

I love how the pikachu looks and the Purrloin these look like some really nice card designs I wonder if they will change much when they are reprinted to English.
 
So, what do you guys think the odds of getting this released as a set (not just the cards thrown into various expansions) in the U.S. is? The pro is that we DID get Dragon Vault as a set, so they obviously aren't afraid to release a mini-set like this stateside. The con is that this set is clearly aimed at little girls, an audience which likes Pokemon WAY more in Japan than in the US.
 
I thought it was made clear that how we got Dragon Vault wasn't how they originally intended for it to be released. o.o I would expect these to be inserted into packs, the product itself probably wouldn't sell well.
