Prerelease cards (the non-prerelease versions) are usually part of an important card in the set. Kirlia and Porygon 2 should be proof of that. If that is the case, that means we should be getting new Burmys and Wormadams. Are there any promo versions of those? If not, that's 6 US-first cards you can add to the set :thumb:

And DP Luxio + Countless examples from RS are proof against it....

Ok, look at it this way. How dumb is it to have a Pokemon that evolves from 3 different basics not have any of its' basics in the set? And if the Burmys are in, Wormadam HAS to be. Add the fact that Mothim directly references different types of Wormadam in it's first attack, and it would just be plain illogical if those 6 cards were missing from the set. (Oh wait, PUI is illogical all the time )

You're all amazing people, thanks for all the corrections.

I redid the list according to the advice given.

That'd be lame if they only gave us a 100 card set and 7 of them were basic energy.

I do feel we can't say if any cards from DP5 will be in this set. They moved cards from DP4 to DP5, moved cards from DP4 to DP3 (gardy), so on, so on.

I'd rather have a 100 card set with 7 energy than a nightmarish 130-140 card set, hehe.

Not like we haven't had one of those lately...

Holon Phantoms: 110 (6 basic energy) = 5.5%
Crystal Guardians: 100 (no basic energy)
Dragon Frontiers: 101 (no basic energy)
Power Keepers: 108 (6 basic energy) = 5.6%
DP Base: 130 (8 basic energy) = 6.2%
DP Mysterious Treasures: 123 (no basic energy)
DP Secret Wonders: 132 (no basic energy)
DP Great Encounters:106 (no basic energy)
DP Majestic Dawn: 100 = 8% if basic energies are included

So DP Majestic Dawn will be the most basic energy saturated set ever if basic energies are included.

However, the last basic energies were 4 sets ago - and DP base is the only source of basic darkness and metal (booster pack speaking).

So two solid arguments for either opinion of the inclusion or not.

Oh and I changed the list slightly. See if you can spot the difference or highlight the invisible text below:

*Fighting and Psychic basic energies were switched positions to match the order in DP base.*
