I played in Houston regionals using vilegar with a blissey tech. In the senior division there were 70 people, 7 rounds, and a top cut to 16.

Round 1 (? with vilegar )

So I have a pretty decent hand in this game.I set up two gengars to his one and he can not get anything going for him, so I just shadow room and eventually compound pain for four prize cards.Good game.

1-0

Round 2 (? with vilegar )

So I start with a palmers as my only supporter but, quickly take two cheap prize cards. Then I fall behind in prize cards and use three twins in a row. When I get ahead he gets twins happy, but I pull a blissey out and start healing into time, 2-2 prize card. So, I am going to shadow room with level down to take the first prize card but he pulls out a suprise mesprit I take a risk poltergeist and find four, he flips and gets heads. He runs out of gengars and I get one out to win.(PHEW) good game.

2-0

Round 3 (Victoria Noah with vilegar )

She flips over gastly and I moan. I get set up and we are pretty much even until, she gets out her lv.x and next turn I top deck mine, so I level down and she can not set up another gengar.(yes! that is three mirror matches in a row) good game.

3-0

Round 4 (? with speedos)

He did not get much speed in this one and neither did I. I have my tomb out, but set up pretty slowly. He gets out smeargle and portraits my copycat about three times.I got out some gengars with rescues and get a heads on fainting spell and take this one home. Good game.
4-0

Round 5 (Julian with sablelock)

He flips over sableye to my gastly and top decks a darkness energy. Good game.

4-1

Round 6 (Sven Flores with yamega, umbreon)

I see a total of zero supporters and he sets up slowly but wins. Good game.

4-2

Round 7 (? Flores with sableye/disruption)

Yes, this is Sven's brother. I set up my with my tomb while he, for some reason, does not use iniative or judge, oh well, works for me! I get a gengar and a vileplume out and he can not get out any more energies. Good game.

5-2

Top 16 (Megan Menchana with vilegar)

Game 1- I get an even start and she gets an even start, we are in for a LONG game. It goes very slowly but she can not counter my blissey and in the middle of this game she scoops.

Game 2- My opening hand was AWFUL. I did luck out with a full line of gengar though. She gets set up slowly while I hoodwink every turn, eventually she got out a gengar then I evolve mine. So, She kills my gengar and some other pokemon. I am thankful, because then I play down twins and get set up again. She does not play palmers so after I knockout her third gengar she scoops. Good game.

6-2

I go and get a good nights rest

Top 8 (Sean Hipp with luxchomp)

Game 1- This, suprisingly, was not hard. I get the lock on and keep shadow rooming/poltergeisting to take easy prizes. He bright looks my vileplume once, but I either warp or use unown Q and retreat. Good game.

Game 2- Honestly I can not remember this game, but I think it was just like the last. Good game

7-2

Top 4 (Ryan Mcgregor with luxchomp)

Game 1- I get to play against one of the best players in Texas, lets see how this goes. We both start very slow but my starters were better than his. Luckily, he, like the last luxchomp, did not play dialga or drifblim so, I wait until he knocks out one of my pokemon and play twins to get set up and take game one. Good game.

Game 2- My hand is great but, his was bad again. It was a lot like the last game (as far as I remember) he can not get set up and I take game 2. Good game.
8-2

Top 2 (Camerin Cole with luxchomp)

Game 1- My start is okay, but I have trouble because I don't have an effective way of stopping his drifblim FB. He gets out of the trainer lock by sniping my vileplume. I misplayed because I forgot where my gloom was after using azelf and he takes the first game by one prize.

Game 2- Now I know what to do. I slowed him down a lot with the lock and started poltergeisting. He used lookers to give himself a 1 card hand but he can not get set up.I take game 2. Good game.

Game 3- My hand was okay and I got set up with two early twins. He decided to play another lookers but this time he drew three cards. The result was the same as last game and I took an easy win.

9-2

CONGRATS, PAYTON!!! It's so nice of you to finally win a Regional after the unfortunate things that have happened to you in the past at big events.

GREAT job Payton, it was a pleasure meeting you and the family. Please don't forget to get your paperwork sent in, it's very important.
