The day before me and some friends played in Finland, but all of us did really bad. I went 1-4 with CMT. We went back with the boat to Stockholm and the Finnish guys also traveled to Stockholm for our states.
On the boat back home I was really tired and didn’t know what to play the next day. I was thinking Landorus/Terrakion but didn’t really test it that much so I decided I was going to play a deck I have played a lot, The Truth. I had played that on every tournament since autumn states so I knew the deck well.
We showed up on the gaming place, deckchecked and were ready to go.
Masters were 23 players: Two from Sweden, one from Norway and twenty from Finland.

Round 1 Tonu T - Reshiram/Typhlosion
Reshiphlosion is one of my best matchups. He gets the first two prizes, but he doesn’t draw a lot of supporters and doesn’t get a good setup, however I get a fast Vileplume, Reuniclus and a fully charged Kyurem EX and he scoops when I tie the prizes to 4-4.
1-0

Round 2 Terhi K - Durant
She got a rotom start which means she doesn’t mill until turn two. I get a pretty slow start and she catchers my oddish/gloom a couple of times. However, when I finaly setup a Vileplume there’s nothing she can do. I get a Mewtwo with four energies and OHKO everything.
2-0

Round 3 Ville Litmanen – Terrakion
Fastest game of the day, I get a Vileplume up by turn 3 and there’s nothing he can do because he probably plays around 30 trainers. He can’t get out more than one Terrakion in the whole game so I manage to KO it with my Mewtwo.
3-0

Round 4 Joona V – Durant
My starting hand is something like Mewtwo, a couple of evolutions and energies. He manage to getting the milling up fast and when I finally can draw a Rare Candy + Pokemon Communication I see that one Vileplume is prized and the other Vileplume was just milled away. Nothing I can do against Durant without Vileplume so I scoop.
3-1

Round 5 Ville V – Eelektrik/Zekrom/Mewtwo
This was the best game of the whole tournament for me. He get a couple of Eels up and a Mewtwo attacking. I get a Vileplume up but I struggle to setup the Reuniclus. I use Twins and was going to grab Mewtwo and DCE, but both of my Mewtwos are prized. I setup a Regigigas instead and hit him for 60. Now he does a move that I find a bit strange, he does hit me with Mewtwo so I have 20 HP left instead of retreating to Zekrom and Bolt Strike. This means I can KO his Mewtwo and take 2 prizes(2 Mewtwo). He KOs my Gigas with Zekrom but after that I get my setup with Terrakion+Reuniclus and he draw pretty bad. He can’t do anything about this(I guess he doesn’t play Zekrom EX) so I manage to win the game then he got two prizes left.
4-1

(Funny note: I went 2nd in all games in swiss except the loss in round 4)

I knew I had the best resistance in the tournament so I knew I was going to finish 2nd in the Swiss(Joona went 5-0). The top 4 in swiss looked like this:
1) Joona Vainisto (Durant) 5-0
2) Hampus Eriksson (The Truth) 4-1
3) Tonu Taito (Typhlosion/Reshiram) 4-1
4) Öjvind Svinhufvud (Zekrom/Eelektrik) 4-1

I hoped I got to play vs Reshiram again.

Top 4 Tonu T – Reshiram/Typhlosion
Game 1 – Pretty much as our swiss game. He take some prizes, I get my setup and then there’s nothing he can do about the game. 1-0
Game 2 – A really strange game. He played one supporter in the whole game and I played none. My starting hand is something like Oddish, Kyurem EX, Mewtwo EX and Energies. He manage to KO my Oddish with a Cyndaquil but he doesn’t get much more other then another Cyndaquil and a Reshiram, so I setup the Kyurem and just sweeps him. 2-0

Final Joona V – Durant
The games were almost identical. I get the most amazing start I can get. By turn two I have Vileplume, Dodrio and Mewtwo EX+DCE. There’s really nothing he can do about this and the final is over really fast.
Not really happy about the final being about this, but what can you do. Luck is a part of the game and it was on my side this time.

Overall a nice tournament. Always nice to have the Finnish guys visiting us, it is usually really low attendance at our tournaments.
I have 47 CP after this so I feel pretty comfortable with getting the invite now.
That’s everything from me for this time. Thanks for reading.

Swedish capital city with only 2 Swedish players, the hell?

Eitherways, GJ Hampus.

Yes the attendance has gone down too low right now. I was expecting about 5 swedish players but only two showed up :(

Jason, winland-players keep the Sweden's system afloat.
And we R so hardcore players, we always go to Sweden to play pokémon.

I'm sure a lot of us from Denmark would have played if we knew about the event in time :)
Gratulations on the victory!
