2007 Royal Rumble

Well it's that time of the year again, last year following Eddie Guerrero's death, it was kinda obvious Mysterio was going to win the Rumble. Any predictions for this year?

Here's a wacky one:

Micheals wins, becomes champion, recruits more members, HHH returns, backstabs Micheals for the title.
 
That actually wouldn't suprise me. HHH was apperently rumored to be Cena's opponent for WrestleMania, but that leg injury messed any possible plans for that. Also, I could see the final 3 being Edge, Orton, and HBK, which would make things interesting as to who will backstab who first. Also, the Cena/Umaga match should be interesting, as Cena was "injured" Monday night. It will be interesting to see these two destroying each other in a Last Man standing match. Also, Kennedy/Batista could be intersting from a standpoint of being Kennedy's first PPV main event. I cant wait for Sunday night. I for sure am getting this PPV.

Heres my predictions on a match by match basis.

John Cena vs. Umaga: Last Man Standing for the WWE Championship:
I don't really think that Umaga is going to get the win here. Cena pinned him clean at New Years Revolution, which sudjests to me that WWE does not see the need to protect Umaga in this fued. I think Cena will get the clean pin here, since if Umaga wins, then more the likely, he will have to main event Mania 23, or lose the title extremely quickly.
WINNER: JOHN CENA


Batista vs. Mr. Kennedy for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Batista vs. Undertaker seems like a very probable 'Mania main event, so I can't see the title changing hands here. Mr. Kennedy has been booked strong though, so I think that there will be some sort of disputed finish here, but with Batista getting the win.
WINNER: BATISTA


Bobby Lashley vs. Test for ECW World Heavyweight Championship:
I really don't think that Test will get the win here since I don't think he is really strong enough to draw on top right know. I see Bobby Lashley getting the win after Hardcore Holly costs Test the match and the title. Which then sets up a fued between between those two, and allows either R.V.D. or CM Punk to move into a title feud.
WINNER: BOBBY LASHLEY


M.N.M. vs. The Hardy Boyz
I think the Hardyz get he clean pin in this one in what should be a good match.
WINNER: THE HARDY BOYZ


The Royal Rumble Match
I think that we will get a Shawn Micheals, Edge, Randy Ortan final 3, with Edge and Ortan costing each other the match, and Shawn Micheals winning the Rumble. I think that we'll then get a Cena vs. Micheals vs. Edge, vs. Ortan at 'Mania 23.
WINNER: SHAWN MICHEALS
 
Ya, I can see that happening, but it seems to me that they are already building towards a 'Taker vs. Batista match at Mania even before the Rumble, which leads me to believe that someone else will get the win.

I missed how he got DQ-ed against Mr. Kennedy- the station decided to go to techinical difficulties in the middle of the match. What happened? Phenomforever.com didn't have the answer...
 
What is "2007 Royal Rumble", for those of who don't know?
And I assume you're guessing how the matches have been predetermined? Or is this "real"?:confused:
 
The 2007 Royal Rumble is a WWE pay-per view that takes place every year around this time. Yes, we are guessing how the matches have been pre-determined.

Well, I went 4-1 and one over all in terms of predictions, not to bad overall. However, I do have to admit I did not see the Undertaker winning the 'Rumble, which was quite cool.
