Yay first post but the gigaton punch is way better that the giga power one. But Regigas has really surprised alot of people and taken quite a few cities.

Regigigas is a monster, Gigaton is definately the best Regigigas out there right now. Lv.X makes this thing so good with Snowpoint.

100/10 for Gigaton Punch!

really good card especially the one with gigaton punch because it can have the same effect as kingdra in a flip of a coin.

Gigaton punch: Good card. Special conditions don't really work on this card. Low energy cost and no special energy needed. 9/10

Other one: Why would you really play this when you have gigaton punch. 6/10

REGIGIGIGIGIGIGIGIGIGAS!!! Here i go.

Gigas #37
+Great Attack
+Great Body
+Great Health For a basic
-X2 Weakness to fighting (bad bad bad)
-4 retreat cost

Gigas #9
+Great Health for a basic
+Can do 100 every turn
-X2 weakness
-4 retreat cost
-body that will never be used.

All in all, The non holo LA one is waaaaaay better. Being able to hit 100's every turn is good in theory, but porygon Z was good in theory too, and we all know how that turned out.

Gigas #37 8/10
Gigas #9 6/10

hmmm. is everyone rating these cards on the basis of regigagas lv x? to me, the lv x card is the only thing making the gigaton punch card playable in the modified format. nothing can really make lv 47 gigas playable (though at least it's not as bad as the other gigas). if we were rating the lv x card i could agree with these scores.

my reasoning: lv 48

- retreat cost of 4 on a basic. it's not going anywhere without a switch or warp point.
- x2 weakness to fighting. modified fighting is making a bit of a comeback.
- gigaton punch. this attack takes three energy. kindgra does it first turn (with the help of a rare candy) for one energy. the attack takes three energy, and without some sort of acceleration (lv x) it will probably not live long enough to use it unless you're leveling it up on the bench
+ poke-body. auto status ailment heal every time that you attach energy.

modified:
lv 47 4/10 (with lv x 6/10)
lv 48 6.5/10 (with lv x 8.5/10)

This thread really should have been the SF one versus the OTHER LA Gigas.

As far as this one goes, Gigaton Punch wins flat out.

Both the LA ones are more useful than the SF one, though.

The other LA gigas is the worst.

This: 9/10
SF: 7/10
Other LA: 5.5/10

I'm kinda biased on this one, the SF version can do 100 damage with 4 energies If you get a consistent line of :water::fighting::metal: Energies onto him with Togekiss's Serene Grace. Infact they're both really good with Togekiss and a great tech in Togechomp decks as well.

The Poke-Body on the LA version is really solid, can dish 80 damage with 3 energies and bench snipe for 20, regardless that Gigaton Punch requires colorless Energy for it you still need the consistent :water::fighting::metal: attached to it for the Lv. X.

It's hard for me to give a rating cause I like both even though the LA non-holo version of Regigigas is a bit better and the Poke-Body does give it the edge it needs.

You'd think they'd keep 2 cards from different sets separate, but w/e...

Regigigas LA 37 is the staple Regigigas card for his deck. 100 HP is excellent for a Basic Pokemon, a x2 Weakness to :fighting: isn't too great with Machamp running around (not to mention he's a Basic to start with, making him already weak to Take Out), no Resistance, and a very expensive :colorless:colorless:colorless:colorless to Retreat. Recover Mechanism is a neat Poke-Body to have, letting you heal any Special Conditions off Regigigas when you attach an Energy. Gigaton Punch is a solid attack, dealing 60 for :colorless:colorless:colorless, plus another 20 and 20 to an opponent's benched Pokemon if you flip Heads. This is your primary Regigigas because it offers the cheapest, most damaging attack of all the basic Regigigas without a drawback (Slow Start for the other LA one, and having to play more Regis for the SF one).

Modified - 9.5/10 (Regigigas is a very solid deck, made possible by this Regigigas and the Lv X form)
Limited - 9/10 (A big Basic that can deal out solid damage with Gigaton Punch)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Not much use here, is bait for GoW and eaten by ER and SER)

Regigigas SF is one of the possible alternatives to your primary Regigigas LA 37. Like its other Regigigas brothers, it has 100 HP, a x2 Weakness to :fighting:, no Resistance, and costing :colorless:colorless:colorless:colorless to Retreat. Regi Form isn't as useful of a Poke-Body, letting you reduce your attack costs by :colorless if Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are in play (which no Regigigas deck should have, besides possibly Regice). Mega Punch is ok at :colorless:colorless for 30 damage, but Giga Power is a bit much at :water::fighting::metal::colorless for 60, plus another 40 if you do 40 to Regigigas. Granted, you're going to need to have all 3 types of Energy attached eventually, but it severely limits you attacking options early on, whereas Regigigas LA 37 can attack with any Energy for roughly the same damage output, without harming himself.

Modified - 7/10 (Not as good as Regigigas LA 37, but still worth considering over 1 if you want)
Limited - 3/10 (Way too many energy types needed to attack, and the other Regis aren't even in the set)
Unlimited - 1/10 (You'll never attack with this thing here)

Abviously LA, I mean, special conditions all go bye-bye for an energy? Also a chance for a 20 bench snipe. Alone this card isn't that great but with it's buddies like lvl.x and stuff, its great 8/10

SF one, lets see, this one is little better for quick hitting and more damage but you can't always depend on it.

6/10

Gigas number 1 9/10

Good attack, excellent energy cost for it, good HP. The retreat is low, but he has to have a weakness somewhere (not the actual weakness mind you...).

Gigas number 2 1/10
Terrible. Nice to have a first attack, but the body is useless because if you have the other three out you are WRONG and shall be PUNISHED. The second attack is terrible, the extra damage is worthless because Gigas is a tank, and a tank that damages itself is horrible.
No reason to use. Ever,

ur right, this card has taken a lot of people far in the championships. a lot of people win with these cards, but the trick is 2 play mewtwo Lv.X, it's poke body makes these cards powerless against mewtwo Lv.X because they r not evolved, so they can't attack mewto Lv.X
