Well, after a long wait, the Medals started arriving to the 2008 - 2009 City Champions.

Thanks to Snowball21 for getting scans of his medal in the gallery.

Congrats to all that received 1 or more medals, you certainly earned them.

Also, thanks to PUI for taking the time to make them right. As many of you know, there was an unknown quality issue that caused the people at PUI to return them to the manufacturer and have them remade. We may never know what those issues were, but we know that PUI did, in fact, make it right for the players.

Just in time for States too, I can't wait to see these in a week.
 
this could also mean same template for years to come, since all they would have to do is update ribbon. assuming maybe they mass ordered.
 
Will these medals be available in the UK?

My Girlfriend won our local city champs (Febuary 09) and would like to know if she'll get one.
 
I would assume that all City winners, both US and International get the same thing. If she was supposed to get a Championship medal, then she will.
 
Hm, they look pretty much the same as last season. I personally like the old metal-colored ones from more, but they got a nice ribbon this season. =)

I hope I'll get my medal next time I'm in Netherlands at a tourney.
 
I can't tell from the pics, but it looks like they "DO" have some kind of color to them in spots.....

Anybody that has one..... can you verify that?
 
I only received 4 Medals when I'm supposed to have 5. I think it's becuase one is from a different PTO or something.
 
I got mine today. I love how it looks. My mom doesn't even play Pokemon at all and she loves how the medal looks.
