I got this card in my booster box today, and I was pretty dissapointed.

The only attack it has is really flippy and Garde conpletely shuts it down. Gallade kills it by only flipping 1 prize.

1.5/10

This is just a terrible way to review a card. If you reviewed every card this way then a lot more cards would be getting a 1.5/10 rating. Lets look at Claydol GE. Garde shuts it down and Gallade only needs to flip one prize. I suppose it isn't that good, it can't be the best support card in the format if G&G shuts it down so easily....

Not the greatest, untill we get a good Porygon Z. Though the sp. energy discard can counter DRE and Blissey (with Holon energy) deck.

could stop Blissey decks with getting rid of special energy, but no real attacks kinda hurts it and so does x2 weakness to :fighting:

see you in the binder 1/10

am I the only one surprised we got it ahead of schedule?

I suppose decode is the only potential here. The're aren't any special energy that it can really create a problem with (excluding call, but let's face it, you'd need a very fast Porygon Z Lv.X).

5/10. Actually an excellent card, and getting it out might not be that hard with Porygon 2 allowing you to use extra supporters. Still this card is so vulnerable against the most popular deck today GG, which instantly gives it -5. x2 weakness against fighting is horrible (>_> sadly the whole evo line will suffer from this since Lake Boundrary is a must in a Porygon deck), and as previous posters mentioned Psychic Lock completely shuts down the flow of a Porygon deck. Not even a multi energy removal power can compensate for that.

Still I like the Porygon deck, and think it's a pretty fun deck to play, so therefore I don't mop the floor with this card, since it make a nice addition to that deck.

Good power, as said by many before me the card lacks the very good attack to finish job's of. The time this thing is on the bench is also like forever stage 2 lvl x (actully stage 3 :s). The eevee decks are going to be too fast for this thing to setup. Anyways i'll give it:

1024MB

130 HP are low average for a stage 2 Lv.X.
x2 fighting weakness really doesn't help to stay longer.
Two reatreat are ok, but not very good at all.

So the stats can't convince a player.
It also has no attacks, so its powers should be the only thing worth a closer look.

Mode Crash is great against some decks but not very useful against other decks. It can be a heavy impact in mid-game, just like Omastar, but it's a one-time-opportunity and your opponent will rarely have more than 2-3 special energy in play unless he plays Eeveelutions.

Decode would be a great supporting power, if it was on a Stage 1 Pokémon. This thing on a Stage 2 Lv.X doesn't help very much. In lategame, you don't need to get your cards on the top of your deck. Either get them immediately, or leave them in the deck.

Even if this card is quite interesting, it doesn't solve the problems Porygon decks have, and it can't be played in any other deck.

HP-on Modified: 4/10
DP-on Modified: 3/10 (special energy doesn't play a big role any more, but at least, Porygon's biggest enemy Gardevoir is also weakened by that and Battle Frontier is no longer a threat)
Unlimited: 1/10 (too slow, Decode almost unnecessary because of massive search and cards like oracle)
Limited: 0/10 (useless without Porygon line)

the worst lvl x to come, i unfortunately got 1 i expected that since i have bad luck so i might work with it, but it will never overcome the flippyness of porygon z, gardy and glaceon destroy any porygon deck and most other solid decks beat it depending on luck

the powers are great but it's just SOOO unreliable
4/10

Meh, I pulled one off but then ripped some noob off for better cards.

I would say if a better Porygon Z(a non flippy one) is printed, then this thing is beast. For now, and with Gardy still in the format, it is a 4-5/10
HP-on-5/10
DP on-6/10
Better Porygon Z-9/10
