no weakness and free retreat = good

makes eveelutions low hp better with no weakness and giving them free retreat allows for better maneuvering. its attack isn't that bad cause u can use upper on it if you play it or have it or something rather. its definatly a needed tech in most evee based decks.

The other half to the Eevee-assistants equation.

Umberon is my favorite Eeveelution. It's coolness rivals that of Charizard and Tyranitar IMO.

This MD Umberon was obviously designed to be a bench-sitter, like its counterpart Espeon, but that is by no means bad. Giving free retreat AND Weakness removal is doubling your fun and chances of out-maneuvering your opponent (maybe). Really, it just depends on what you need in-game. If you're playing with Leafeon active and fully powered, but come up against Blaziken or Charizard, Umbreon might be a good idea! Of course, Espeon's +20 HP is just as good if not better in situations beyond that. It really comes down to a choice between the two. I usually play both in my deck and end up picking one to play during a match depending on the conditions.

Umbreon's attack isn't too good. Yes, Upper could help but 50 damage plus an easily removable condition isn't that great. Emergency purposes only please.

Modified: 6/10 (Honestly, no Eeveelutions deck should be without Esp and Umb should it ever become powerful enough to compete in the popular metagame)
Limited: 5/10 (Could be useful...but not likely. The other Eeveelutions fare better here with more potent attacks and effects)

Bonus card 3 is Umbreon from MD, another useful core of an Eeveelutions deck. Statwise, 80 HP is 10 below the common 90, +20 Weakness to :fighting: hurts, -20 Resistance to :psychic: helps, and :colorless to Retreat is cheap. Moonlight Veil is a great Poke-Body, granting all your Pokemon that evolves from Eevee both no Weakness and free Retreat. Confuse Ray is bad at :dark::colorless:colorless for 50 and Confusion, but Umbreon shouldn't be attacking...at all anyways.

Modified - 8/10 (Another key card for Eeveelutions along with Espeon)
Limited - 6/10 (Depends on if you get any other Eeveelutions card, but generally don't bother if you didn't get any)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here)

No weakness and no retreat cost is really good...too bad it can be shut down by Dialga G Lv. X. The no weakness helps with Leafeon in a Blaziken FB/Infernape 4-heavy metagame. No retreat cost is always a plus. The attack is bad. 3 for 50 is underpowered, and the confusion will be blocked most of the time by Unown G or Poketurns. However, if your opponent does not have an Unown G the confusion will be disruptive. 4/10

80 hp is bad for a stage 1, +20 to :fighting: hurts, -20 to :psychic: is good, and :colorless: to retreat is nice. The Poke-Body is amazing in a eevelutions deck, otherwise don't even think of playing this card. Confuse Ray is overpriced for 3 energies and 50 damage and confusion... if you do play this card, keep him on your bench!

Modified: 8/10
Limited: 7/10
Unlimited: 2/10

1st off the Poke-Body is awesome! Attack pretty good when you have Special Dark Energys on it. So you could play this with Espeons MD, and Weavile SW to make it good. Works as a good counter against Gengar and it's Lv. X. All by itself it's not good, but it's easy to support and set up (well any dark type is with Weavile). Another plus to it's body is that you can use Lucario GLs and/or Lake Boundaries to help it.

7/10

~May the Will be done.

i honestly dont know why they put a retreat cost on it if the pokebody gives it free retreat cost... unless a card is played to prevent pokebody, anyway, this is a necesity for any eevee deck along with the espeon
