[gal=49157] 2009-11-30 Arceus LvX AR 96/99[/gal]

Yay, first post.

Todays COD is Arceus Lv X.

This Lv X like the other arceus X, has 120 HP. This is respectable for a Basic pokemon.
Its body, Mulitype converts its type to match the arceus under it.

Its attack takes a lightning, a psychic anad somthing else to do 100 damage.
then you must discard that lightning and psychic energy.

I myself do not like this card much at all. For decks that are based on speed and fast set up, discarding 2 energy is not worth it. Especially for only 100 damage.

3/10

5.5/10 not the Best of The arceus Lvl X. Lightning Pychic is not to often Easyily Merged. It does Average Damage for Discarding 2 Energies. No weakness is Nice and SPorts a 120 Hp 1 retreat isnt to bad. If it did a little more would be alot better

Today's CotD is Arceus Lv X #96 from AR...well, he's not as good (imo) as the other 2, but still probably has his uses somewhere. Statwise, 120 HP is in-line with the other Arceus Lv X cards, still no Weakness or Resistance, and costs a cheap :colorless: to Retreat. Still shares Multitype as well for a Poke-Body, letting him mimic the type of his previous level. Psychic Bolt is a bit unorthodox to use at :lightning::psychic::colorless: for 100, and you have to discard a :lightning: and :psychic: Energy off Arceus Lv X to use it, which is rather pricey.

Modified - 6/10 (Probably has some use in an Arceus deck, but I dunno, just doesn't seem as good as the other 2, you'd only really want this for the proper Energy usage)
Limited - 7/10 (If anything, it gives your base Arceus more HP to live longer. Of course, if you don't have any Arceus, don't use)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here of course)

I don't see why people have to restate what's already on the card. We all see it there...

I like the Arceus with two bodies, but this one is just as good if run in a non-Arceus deck. On its own, I'd give it a 5/10.

The Arceus to run for awesome damage. So many things will fall to Psychic Bolt from weakness that it isn't funny (Flygon, Salamence, Gengar, Machamp, Rhyperior etc). Definately worth at least one spot in any Arceus deck. Just keep it on the bench, and attack through Omniscient.

9/20 in an Arceus deck

Its close to being the best card in the format, and anyone who doesn't see how good this card is simply hasn't figured out how Arceus works yet. The double discard is hardly even a drawback to be honest.

10/10.

well this one is good with ultiment zone and if you where to play this one i would add extra electric and psychic energys in your deck but its a good card you dont hafe to use this attack all the time...witch i have this card so yea.

This is the second-best Arceus of the three. Its attack and body really compliment one another, as the ability to hit for weakness and a consistent 100 without the flip (that the loathsome Fire/Grass Arceus X brings) is a plus. It still falls flat, however, seeing as how pure-Arceus builds can suffer from constantly discarding energies. Omniscient Arceus is definitely the play over this one, if you have to have just one type of X in the deck or you don't run many Psychic or Lightning energies.

In theory, outside of an Arceus-only deck, this could compliment the Fire or Steel Arceus rather well... But that's just a theory.

7/10 - A solid card, but Omniscient Arceus still beats this one by a longshot. This is probably the only Arceus X that should be run outside of an Arceus-based deck.

7/10 Saw a pretty good deck build around this one, and the colorless Arceus. It was able to dish out 80/100 per turn thanks to Rayquaza's Speed Gain and Regirock's power (forgot the name of it) comboed with Arceus own Stark Mountain stadium. It completely slaughtered the other deck. Unfortunately that deck auto-lose against anything with Mewtwo lv X.

Overall an ok lv-x with pretty good damage output for three energies, and possibility to hit many weaknesses.

The 2nd best Arceus Lv. X of the three. The HP boost is nice, no weakness is really useful, and retreat cost of 1 isn't so bad. I like Psychic Bolt because it does a lot of damage due to multitype and then opponent's weakness. Heatran Lv. X can be used to recover the energies if the Metal or Fire Arceus is underneath. 5/10

But at the cost of 2 energy is so not worth it. The attack damage should be higher for that cost.

Oh really? I have a best friend. It's name is Togekiss. It kinda loves digging through the top 10 cards of my deck in search of and allowing me to attach basic energies. And I don't have to use that strategy, I always have Arceus LV. X's cheap 1 energy cost to retreat if I so please. Last time I checked, unless it's got an expert belt attached to it, Flygon can't OHKO Arceus LV. X. Oh and Buffer Piece is a friendly tool that can take away 20 damage anyway, so it cancels out Expert Belt's effects. I'd rather use only 1 type of Arceus, rather than all types. I'd go for colourless cuz it's the Anti-Flygon type. And I'm starting to really hate Flygon in card form now. Cuz it's getting the spotlight when others like Salamence and Charizard should be getting some spotlight. That's why I want an Anti-Flygon deck. Oh and also, Flygon, even with an Expert Belt attached can't OHKO Charizard because Charizard's got 140 HP and last time I checked, Flygon only does 110 without expert belt and 130 with expert belt. Sorry but Charizard can't be OHKO'd be Flygon but Flygon can be OHKO'd by Charizard. Burning Tail with 5 Fire Pokemon on the bench = 130 damage. Last time I checked, Flygon has 120 HP. Flygon with Expert Belt = 140 HP but Charizard with expert belt = 160 HP and can dish out 150 damage. Only way for Flygon to avoid that would getting X'd and having an expert belt attached to it. But look, it has to get X'd and an expert belt to get 160 HP. Charizard just needs the Expert Belt to get 160 HP

probably means that flygon uses power swingXD. I like this card though, it's better then the one with the flip but worser then the omniscient one. I'll give it a 6/10 because I don't see Arceus' decks winning anything big soon.
