1st and 3rd attack could be O.K when the DCE comes back, but it really depends.
Anyways.. Great HP, but not that good attacks or energy cost (at the moment)

Bad card. The 1st attack is nice , but the others arent really good ( doing 70 with 4 energies ? =/ ) . Nice hp and resistance , though . 5/10
 
Good HP for a Stage 2. Weakness can hurt, resistance is awesome. Retreat is bad. Return Blow is an amazing attack most of the time. metal Fang is good if you are already set up and not waiting to draw a crucial card. Heavy Impact is way over-priced

I see great potential in this card. Probably only when HG/SS comes out, but still.

Too bad its damage output is so low for the energy cost. And that retreat cost sucks too.

Terrible Terrible Terrible. 1st attack is simply fundamentally bad and easily played around, regardless of the energy cost.

Second and third attacks are overpriced. Heavy Retreat cost, and bad weakness solidify this as a terrible card.

Right now this card is good only for fun play

4 for 70 doesnt do you anything. Its too slow and doesnt hit hard enough

Is fun to play in a screw around deck, but beyond that you will get lauhged at, at a tournament.

Fire Weakness is bad. Pyschic Resistance can be useful, and a Retreat Cost of 3 is awful. 2 for whatever can be good if Aggron has suffered a heavy hit. 40 for 3, discard the top card of your deck and heal 20 and whatever special conditions is overpriced and underpowered. The healing effect might not be worth it to waste a card in your deck. And 70 for 4 is way overpriced and underpowered. 2/10
 
You wanna know an awesome use for Aggron? Stick it in Rumble, treat Return Blow as a 0+10 for each damage counter on Aggron attack, and treat Metal Fang as an auto-heal. It becomes epic.
 
Why use the other attacks when Aggron's got Return Blow? That's it's best attack. Give it an Expert Belt and when Flygon hits it for 110, it can hit Flygon back for 130. :wink:
 
Today's CotD is Aggron from RR...well, it's a bit more interesting than its counterparts, which isn't saying much. Statwise, 130 HP is average for a Stage 2, +30 Weakness to :fire: hurts, -20 Resistance to :psychic: is good, and :colorless::colorless::colorless: to Retreat is expensive. Return Blow is ok for :colorless::colorless:, letting you meat out any damage Aggron suffered last turn to the Defending Pokemon. Metal Fang is expensive at :metal::colorless::colorless: for a mere 40, though you can optionally choose to discard the top 2 cards of your deck to heal 2 damage counters and cure any special conditions Aggron has. Heavy Impact is weak and overpriced at :metal::metal::colorless::colorless: for 70.

Modified - 2/10 (Unless you're crazy about Aggron or something, no real reason to make a deck around him)
Limited - 6/10 (Eh, he's big, and you should have time to stack Energy onto him at least)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Useless here pretty much)
 
Being Metal with a "Mirror Move" type attack is counter productive... The first attack is the only selling point on this card, and that's not even good. I'd take a Flail move over that anytime, and there's plenty of better Flailers out there. 2nd attack has too many things going against it to make it work (High energy cost, low damage, slight drawback), and the 3rd attack probably wouldn't see any use anyways. Add a bad retreat and bad weakness to lower the score, too.

3/10 .. Best in limited I'd say.
