Anyways, Luxray GL Lv X is a fun new arrival from the soon-to-be-released Rising Rivals set. Statwise, 110 HP is decent for an SP Lv X, x2 Weakness to :fighting: is...bad with Machamp running around, -20 Resistance to :metal: is nice against Dialga G, and no Retreat Cost is always cool. Bright Look is a nice Poke-Power; when you level up your (active) Luxray GL, you get to switch your opponent's defending with one of their benched, which sets you up for (hopefully) KOing something. Flash Impact is ok, but also a bit eh; you get to do 60 damage for :lightning:colorless
lightning with Energy Gain attached), but you also have to deal 30 damage to one of your own benched Pokemon. Granted, this can be combo'ed nicely with Alakazam 4 or if you plan on using Poke Turn your next turn, but still, it opens up a chance for your opponent to snipe and KO. And in any event, you still have Luxray GL's respectable attacks to use also.
Modified - 8/10 (Good solid card from RR)
Limited - 9/10 (If you can use this, you could use Bright Look to set up an easy KO for you. Or, just tuck him away for safe keeping)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Not that good when you have Gust of Wind running about)
