Definitely doesn't beat the original awesome Froslass, but I think it has some uses, like in a Darkrai G deck. Have 2 Darkrai G on the bench, Sleep Induce, and if they aren't super lucky with coin flips, you've got a nice in-between 2 damage counters and a Sleeping Pokemon active turn 1. That's as much use as I can come up with for poor Froslass GL's usefulness.

6/10

Today's CotD is Froslass GL from RR (is it just me, or does that art look like a reverse of the LA one? Geez...). Statwise, 70 HP is...eh, ok for an SP (more would have been nice), x2 Weakness to :metal: is bad with Dialga G running around, no Resistance is eh, typical, and :colorless to Retreat is manageable. Sleep Inducer is ok for :colorless (or free with Energy Gain): you get to force a switch of your choice, and inflict Sleep to try to prevent them from escaping. Wake-Up Slap isn't good; for :psychic::colorless (or :psychic: with Energy Gain), you get to do 30+ 20 if the Defending Pokemon has a status condition (but then you have to remove it), so it's mediocre at best since you're not dealing that much damage.

Modified - 5/10 (No real reason to use this over some of the better SP Pokemon offerings)
Limited - 8/10 (Ok attacks, Sleep Inducer can set you up for picking off targets)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No reason at all to run this)

While this could be a good combo w/ Darkrai G, sleep is too flippy. The ability to pull anyone out makes this a better tech than Zangoose IMO for SP decks.

Either way, I can't see this being more than a tech, as 50 with negative consequences is poor damage output.

4.5/10

Move along... nothing to see here.

Low HP for an SP, plus the 2xweakness drawback and the attacks are lame.

2/10 (and a 2 is being generous).

2nd, kind of good, but since Unown G is up, not so good.

7.5/10 if no Unown G
4/10 w/ Unown G
I dont agree with that, it says switch the defending pokemon So you get to choose, Now If unown G was already attached to a pokemon it cant be affected by special conditions, But you can't attach unown G to a pokemon that is already affected by a special condition. So the player playing frostlass would pick a pokemon without Unown G.

This card of the day Is actually really interesting, but the only problem is that the defending pokemon could wake up, sooo that makes a problem, also very low Hp Even with snow point temple. It can have a energy gain on it, but Still. Delivering a maximum of 50 damage then waking the opponents active pokemon up, I dont think this card has much potential.
Overall - 6.5\10

Basic with what amounts to turn-using Gust of Wind + 50% chance of no attack or retreat, splashable in any deck?

Nevermind with Skuntank G or Blaziken then can do 50 for :psychic: @ Energy Gain?

I'd say this is underrated. 7/10.

Actually I have a question:

Say an opponent has an Unown G on their active pokemon, and you use Blaziken or Skuntank G's Poke-Power (Burn or Poison from the bench).

Does Unown G prevent the healing conditions effect? If so then its actually a card that works against Unown G provided it's used in the right deck.
