Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

2009 Fall Battle Road FAQs Up!

This FAQ tells true, but have forgotten to mention that there will be no more TCG in France.
Eeeek

The list http://www.op.pokemon-tcg.com/events/locator/?event_type=75&location=international only picks up events that have been tagged as Premiere Events. I wouldn't conclude that there is no more pokemon TCG in France just from the absence of Battle Roads on that list.

I can't believe that TPCi would just abandon France.

To avoid a thread hi-jack do you have more information that you could post in the International forums?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

....btw, has anyone realized that the winner gets a gold Victory Medal? The years before it was a silver one for Battle Roads autumn.
Silver medal promo in the kit I've just received.

Don't know, the French OP site is unreachable. =/
There are Battle Roads, Cities and even States for France in the tournament locator, but all not flagged as premier events. Very strange. =(

Hm then it's probably just an error in the FAQ.
Why don't we get another card? ._. There are so many Japanese promos left.

Oh come on, after all those nice changes I was hoping that they'd finally "flipped the switch"...

I can decorate my walls with the old VMs, no one wants them anymore :/

The situation in France is ... something.
Asmodée has told that he will stop doing tournaments, unless there will be one french in top at worlds. We have two guys in tops, so Asmodée continue the game, however the new OP Manager is unknown for the Pokémon TCG world, and except for a city "near" Paris (Compiègne and Verberie, same TO) who have 3 BR, 4 Cities and 2 SPT (as you can see, nor registered ad Premier Event) we have very few tournaments.
The only official site is Asmodée Pokémon, the only calendar available is of 2009 first half year.
Pokémon-JCC was shut off September 10, an unofficial site may take the domain of the dead site in the next months.

The Pokémon TCG Battle Road Autumn tournaments are where players in each of the three POP-recognized age divisions can work on their Premier Ratings, potentially earning an invitation to the 2010 World Championships! Results of the Battle Road tournaments count toward your Premier Rating!

The language in the FAQ has been changed to invitation.:frown::frown:

The word trip has been conspicuously removed.

Hopefully it will change again.
