2009 NORTHWEST Regional Championship - Salem OR

Team Phoenix Games Gym

After 3 years of being 3rd place. Team Phoenix Games Masters will not settle for 3rd place again
and for the 1st time it looks like we will have a team in all 3 age groups. So far our rosters are

Masters. Jeff A, Penny A, Ryan M, Trevor W, Ken R and Steve J

Sr. KC R, and Justin R and ____ (we just need one more I think we can find one at the tournement)

Jr. Sarah A, Ian W, and Cadon R

If we get more Masters confirmed as going to Regionals we will have two teams entered. Team X-files broke though last year. This year its our turn.

i can brag cuz i won.. but i'm not gunna :lol:. i',m ready for regionals, i have my deck and everything, i'm either getting a ride from mom or dad, possibly randy if he's cool about taking me again :biggrin: and sorry if randy talks to much about relick.... but we are awesome :thumb:

Eleki, how can you be ready for states when it already happened?
Isn't it a little late?...
Anyways, So Team Relick so far has 4 people for the regional team thingy.
Good luck Team phoenix and X-files, we will put up a good fight.
 
i never said states... just wondering can you drive me again? :biggrin: it's a lot more fun than going down with mom.. dad's OK cuz he gets me food, but with randy, there's video games, lolz
 
OK, you guys are scaring me. I am actually beginning to believe that you might just get 400 players there on the 18th. In preparation for what will most likely be the largest non-PUI run Pokemon event in history I have moved up registration to 8:00 AM and found us a new building to play in that will be plenty BIG. We are now in the Jackman Long building which is about 50 yards away from the building we were in at States. It is a little bigger though - 48,000 sq. ft. :eek:

cool, so i guess we won't be as cramped this time, we got there at 8:00 last time anyways so no big concern from me in that department.
 
BDS, this was pretty clearly stated I believe, I just want to make sure. You are starting registration early
so that we can have more time to get everyone in, but we aren't starting the Tournament Early right? The
cut-off time is still at 9:45 correct? I just want to be sure so that there isn't any confusion, cause if we
start the tourny at 9:30...I'd like to prepare my players for that time frame. (Though it still says the same
on the frontpage...just makin' sure.) Thanks!

This is gonna be an amazing party. Honestly, last year I was dissappointed to hear that Texas had a
larger regionals than ours. One of the goals I made clear and loud early in the process of putting together
Organized Play in southern oregon was to get the lower part of the state playing, so we could come
up there, and play as well. I sure hope we can bring up a 'number boosting' croud to help STICK IT to Texas.

Ok for real, remember me Shawn? The guy you defeated at '07 Nationals couple years ago at the top 16. I almost won that whole match if I won that coin flip. You still owe me a rematch and I want to settle the score with you two years ago. If I didn't lose to you, I would have been the undefeated National Champion.

You are correct. I am starting registration at 8:00 AM to give us a little extra time to process what I believe may be 100 more players than we had at States. We wil still use the same timing for starting the tournament. You need to be in the registration line by 9:45 and we will try to seat players as close to 10:00 AM as we can.

WOW........ I am thinking that 401 is not enough....... The bald head idea has grown into national interest...... We have been challenged by texas, They beat our regionals numbers last year and usually win that contest evey year BUT we have been number one in Battle roads, Cities and states this year so i know we have them running scared so scared that I have been challenged that if we do not take there crown then they will shave me bald on the National championship stage. But when we win I will get to shave there PTO from texas on the national stage.............. So I will need all of your help to win this. we will need much more than 400 to make sure we bet texas. Together I know we can for it has been that same concept that has made us number one all this year........... GO OR-EE-GON !!!!!

JK, Yes it will be good to see all the old players say hi to your brother! I will see out at the REA-GON-ALLS in OR-EEE-GON

I think I see the Shawn's grand plan unfolding right before us. He is going to come into Regionals, sweep though the tournement undefeated. And then move on to worlds.
 
well i'm X-1 with new dialga G so far, feeling pretty good with it for now, can't wait to see chris without hair :lol: maybe he'll just grow out an instant beard right after we cut it because he's an alien. or maybe he'll have really funny tan marks from never cutting it.
 
oh yeah, this is next.

woot! I'm gonna play... something.... awesome..... AND ILY ANDREW we need a hardcore team name...
