This card is awesome, search for 3 basic. This card is what is making me play Gyarados/Luxray for Regionals. 8.5/10

This is one of the first Supporters you should play at the beginning of the game.....should your bench be sort of "lonely."
8.5/10

Then again, it doesn't get Energy while your at it; use at your own discretion.

Essential for just about every deck. 2 of these and 2 Roseanne's are core to getting those basics when you need them

9/10 - highly playable

Although this Supporter is ideal for Gyarados, it is not made for every deck. If you run Call Energy in your deck, this card may not always be needed; at least not in max'd form. I'd run 2 max in a deck, excluding Gyarados.

8/10

Rosys is a better card most of the time because it allows for getting basic energies. In decks that rely on getting basics fast this is a great supporter. I still only run 2 as after T2 or T3 it is a dead draw (kind of like call energy).

its an ok card but i think that rosys is better as it give you an option of energy as well. but still a good card
8/10

Now we're talking. We now jump back to the good card era!:thumb:

Pokemon Collector is one great basic Pokemon searcher that's for sure. It can grab 3 basic Pokemon from your deck. This is slightly higher compared to Roseanne's, but it can't search out energies. However, Pokemon Collector can work out in many decks, manily some SP decks and Gyarados.

Overall 8/10 in modified, 10/10 in limited, and 5/10 in unlimited

In modified, this card can do pretty well. The fact it can search out lots of basics makes this card great in SPs or Gyarados. SPs is because of the fact that the deck is literally utilizing basic Pokemon, but Gyarados is the deck that benefits from Collector the most right now in this format. Because of the fact Gyarados doesn't need any energies to attack, it can easily grab lots of basics like Magikarps to bring it into full use. Of course, not every deck uses Collector, as Roseanne's slightly outclasses it though.

In limited, this card has even more powerful uses. Since you may often run lots of basic Pokemon in limited tournaments, Collector will greatly help you grab the basic Pokemon you need.

In unlimited, I think this card can have some decent use. However, since it can search out lots of basic Pokemon, it is possible that the rating can be higher for unlimited.

Well as it seems, Collector may be pretty good now, but when Roseanne's gets rotated next year, Collector will pretty much become the new Roseanne's that's for sure. Still, both this and next year, Pokemon Collector is one awesome supporter.

Gyarados is not the only deck that benefits from this card... Anyways, this is IMO the best Supporter in the game, though I don't think it should necessarily be played in every deck.

I agree with the person that said Call Energy doesn't work well with it - for that reason I wouldn't run this in Luxchomp. Cursegar benefits from this HUGE (then again, I don't believe in playing Call in Cursegar). Other decks like GeChamp, Flygon variants, PLOX, etc. can all make good use of this (yes, in greater numbers than 2).

This is a card that will be a staple in most decks for a long time.

9.75/10

Fantastic supporter. It's nearly a staple. The only thing that pushes Rosy above it is that it can't grab energy if you draw it lategame - but in the early game, I so often wish I could just get that third basic...

This helps you run multiple lines in evo decks more effectively because you can grab all the basics with one supporter play.

10/10 for what it does and playability. 9/10 overall as a supporter.

I think a lot of yoou guys either weren't around to use Holon Mentor, or else you forgot about it. When starting a game, the ability to get your set up going is far more valuable than an Energy. This is why Pokemon Collector sweeps Roseanne under the rug. Give it an honest try and you'll see. Besides, there are other options like Cyrus's Conspiracy which can be run in any deck that also let you get Energy and further aid in the set up.

This card is definitely 10/10, it will just take a while for some to come around as they have become accustomed to playing with Roseanne.

In the pole, the highlighted part needs to be deleted as it gives a ridiculous option as far as voting goes and obviously goes to the opinion of whoever created the pole as every other option downplays the usefullness of Collector.

With Pichu AND Smoochum, it deserves a Spot in every deck!

I should just read,
It deserves a Spot in every deck!

The polls get annoying after awhile, as they never make much sense. >_>

Ah no, i'd never forget Holon's Mentor! I ran two in my old Delta Gyarados Deck and it was always a huge help early, mid, and sometimes late game. The discard was annoying at times, but mostly even that was a big help. (Can we say Nidoqueen, anyone?)

Pokemon Collector is fixing to be just as useful as that was, regardless of what deck it's played in. Though, I can see the argument about Rosanne's being the better choice. Deck depending, having all the pokemon in the world won't save you if all they can do is sit there and blink. And Rosanne's has excellent options regardless of what phase of the game one's in.

Until these two cards get fused into one, further down the road, i'd say just run 2 of each in your decks, since neither is really a bad card, even if neither is completely broken.

Gyarados. Completely broken. Just my opinion. Ah yes. 8/10

I need more of this card, it's better thenRoseanne's in my deck. There's still going to be quite a few decks out there that'll want to run Roseanne's. Post-rotation, however... I see this being the next go to card :D
