Bill Bill Bill
You were so good untill they remade you as a supporter. You are the same as mom's Kindness

Mod 0/10
Unlimited 0/10
Limited 5/10

2nd

Makes no sense to print two different cards with identical abilities one after the other.

*takes the Base Set 1 Bills out of his Unlimited deck and throws them in the shredder* ¬_¬

Modified: 0/10
If it came before Mom's Kindness, it might get a 1. But not only is it a different named reprint, it's inferior to your other options. Use Buck's Training. Or Team Galactic Mars. Etc, etc, etc.

Unlimited: Can I give this a negative number/10?
Not is it useless for the same replacement reasons as in Modified, it even managed to go back and make a wonderful card for Unlimited useless thanks to the most-recent-text rules. Why PCL, why?

Limited: 6/10
Any draw power is good. But if you look at the other cards in HGSS that you'll get in Limited (and let's face it, this set seemed to have uncommon S/S/T cards show up a lot more often than they ought to have (relative to Pokémon cards), such as Copycat, Oak's Theory, etc, Bill still isn't that good - moreso since it's now a Supporter.

Bill makes me sad. If it were still a Trainer card, I would adore it. But since you can only play one per turn AND it stops you from using another, better Supporter (which is pretty much every Supporter EVER (Here Comes Team Rocket, you don't count!)), well...

Sorry Bill, ol' buddy ol' pal, you fail.

There's a running theory that Bill in fact used to be Mom. As a card, he's not very good; however, as a personality he displays a lot of character.

3/10

Today's CotD post brings in a wave of nostalgia. Ahhhhh, good ol' Bill.......good times, goood times..........wait, Bill is a supporter? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Not much to say about this card because is is just plainly simple. Draw 2 cards. Mom'm Kindness is back once again, but really, there are cards that are like Bill but better, like Team Galactic's Mars.

Overall 1/10 in modified, 1/10 in limited, and 1/10 in unlimited

In modified, it is greatly outclassed by many drawpower cards like Claydol. Really, if only Bill was a trainer card here.

In limited, it is is the exact same thing. In HS, we have lots of better drawing options. Again, if only Bill was a trainer card.

In unlimited, it is useless also. Same reasons as the above also.

Yeah, the fact Bill is a supporter now is just sad. Bill will never see the day of light again.:nonono:

This card well isnt good compared to the other supporter cards but hey i just had a funny idea you could have the classic charizard from strom front and the charmanders and the charmelons and like the classic hitmon chan and the clasic scyther and bill in there and it wiould be a perfectley legegal deck.

As a Trainer 10/10

As a supporter -10/10

Horrible, unwelcome change to one of the most beloved cards of all time. Hated to see it happen, but what can ya do? Just keep playing and forget about it I suppose :frown:

Wow you get to waste a supporter in drawing 2 extra cards. Big deal. It was better when it was broken as a trainer. Then you didn't waste a supporter. Now this can't fit into any decks because the draw is so bad. And gallade, how can Mom's Kindness be better? It's exactly the same. Neither can better than the other if they have the same effect. That's a silly thing to say.

0/10 for lack of draw power.

Oh No Mr. Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

0/10 for everything. Would go negative if I could.
Scores high on the Lame Factor!!!
Some poor tree could still be standing, but no they had to remake this card.

"That'll be five dollars."

*Holds out five of this card*
"Can I pay you in Bills?"

It's a great card as Trainer, bad as Supporter.
Unbiased, 0/10. In my opinion, 12/10 for Bill being so epic. Better than Mom's Kindness for nostalgia factor.

Pokemon Fail Factor:

As a trainer, Bill was completely broken. As a supporter, he has no use. Obviously, in today's speed induced format, even more cheap draw power would be a bad idea. Therefore, Bill has no reason at all to exist. Yet, it does.

0/10.

Bill used to be Broken, I loved using it in Unlimited until this Supporter version came. I would have to agree with everyone else. 0/10

Bill makes me sad. If it were still a Trainer card, I would adore it. But since you can only play one per turn AND it stops you from using another, better Supporter (which is pretty much every Supporter EVER (Here Comes Team Rocket, you don't count!)), well...

Wasn't Here Comes Team Rocket what made GG flop in Japan?

Not to mention the funny story where an old friend of mine played the card in the Grinder in 2006, and had a swarm of Judges converge on their game.

*playing catch up again*

So, Bill...not much to say, except I absolutely hate hate HATE it for ruining the good old Base Set Bill!

Really, 2 cards isn't much (many cards can get more), and this being a Supporter just makes it even worse. Nothing at all I can say, except thank you POP/PUI/whoever for ruining a classic card :nonono:

Modified - 0/10 (Normally I reserve this for cards that are literally unplayable - ie, promos in Limited and such - but it's warranted for the screw up job someone did)
Limited - 10/10 (Some draw is better than no draw at all)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Once again, thanks so much for ruining such a great old card )
