Ahhh, a good card for once! Too bad it isn't Garchomp C Lv.X.
80 HP is great for basic. Colorless weakness hurts, but the retreat cost is average.
Garchomp C's first attack, Claw Swipe, does 30 for two (one with a DCE or an Energy Gain). This is rather decent damage, but it can potentially donk many low HP Pokemon (some with the help of Crobats). The second attack, Earthquake, does 50 for three (two with a DCE or an Energy Gain), but you do 10 damage to each of your bench Pokemon; that is a sad cost, but it can donk as well, as long as you have both an Energy Gain and a DCE that is.
Overall 8/10 in modified, 7/10 in limited, and 2/10 in unlimited
In modified, this card has been proven to be good. It is known to be quite a donker with both its first and second attacks, and its donks are thanks to the help of cards like DCE and Energy Gain. Moreover, Earthquake combos well with Garchomp C Lv.X because when you damage your bench, you can then play the Lv.X next to remove it. The only problem is that most of the time, you will be needing Garchomp C Lv.X in order to help it, and the Lv.X is a better attacker too. Still, Garchomp C can be a good SP nevertheless.
In limited, this card is still fine. Its got decent stats for a basic, both HP and attack wise, and being :colorless:, it can work in any deck. Once again though, the problem is that here, it will be needing Garchomp C Lv.X to be even more effective.
In unlimited, this card won't be doing much. Here, the HP is a problem, and the attacks won't have much of an effect, so in order to use this Garchomp C effectively, you really will need Garchomp C Lv.X to make it a more fearsome thing. It's at least good that the regular Garchomp C is not that entirely useless in my opinion.
