does anyone really suspect that they're not gonna print the first place luxchomp list for somebody elses?
I mean, even if second place was also playing luxchomp I'd still be completely surprised to not see the world champion's list printed. I would feel jipped if I won worlds and they chose to print another player's list over mine.
not to burst anyone's bubble, but that's a huuuuge dose of wishful thinking.

LuxChomp came 1st in Masters and Seniors. It also came 2nd in Juniors.

They don't print 2 of the same deck :/
 
didn't they once print all the top 3 players decks ? or am out in the field on this ? :)

You cant actually tell if it is jacobs or not. I dont even see yuta's name. Jacob deserves it way more, and I HoPe POP feels the same.

I am so tired of people saying that he should deserve it or he should have it the most or whatnot, it's crazy. He did just as good, if not worse, than Yuta (since Yuta apparently played with an "inconsistent deck" AND he didn't even loose). I mean, congrats to Jacob and all, but seriously, they both deserve it equally.
 
gyarados made it in because seniors and juniors both had one make top 4 (i'm hoping it's simon taylor's, he placed third in jrs and plays at my league!!) but they clearly opted for the more popular decks in the top 4, and since luxchomp is EVERYWHERE!!! they clearly opted to print other strategy types instead of 4 sp decks... because really... does anyone even need to see more sps... slash now the netdecking will be even more simple...

His list was far more straight forward and less techy than Yutas for this reason alone they might go with Jacobs list.

No idea where you get this utter nonsense from. How can you say one player 'deserves' it more than another? Any idea what the Masters winner had to go through to win, or how hard he fought for it?

Thought not. Me neither.

All winners deserve the highest praise and respect from fellow players. The marketing decisions you can leave to TPCI (or whoever does it).

People have every right to netdeck. They can play whatever list they want. No one cares if the WC decks "make it easy".

I know, I realise that TPCi might be trying to get an "easier" deck.

But Blitzer was saying that Jacob deserved it more. TPCi has reasons for printing one Luxchomp over another; but saying either player deserves it more when we don't even know what Yuta did isn't right.

Ok,

Jacob has won many, many BR's, cities, states, regs, nationals, AND now worlds. I dont know all about Yuta but I dont think he was nats champ in japan...

That's my point. I know he didn't win Nats because Con Le said he played against Japan's Nat champ and won, so it couldn't have been Yuta. Also, he got IN to worlds, right? Jacob was really good, and Yuta was really good, so they both got invites. It shouldn't matter about their rankings if they GOT IN to worlds.

Besides, I could argue that since Yuta went 12-0 that HE deserves it more than Jacob because he went undefeated.

And we DON'T EVEN KNOW what Yuta won. Heck, he could've won every tournament he went to except for Nats. He could have won 3 regionals. WE DON'T KNOW :biggrin:!
 
These are World Championship decks. Not States decks, not nationals decks. Your argument is irrelevant.
