Are there really only 10 sets of the 2010 Zorua/Zoroark Illustrator cards? If that's true then almost half of them are currently for sale...
Also, what can I reasonably expect to pay for one?

There seems to be way more than 10 sets. Honestly wouldn't pay over $500 for a set. Too many just seem to pop up all the time which has devalued the set in my eyes.

Too many pop up with the same seller who refuses to answer questions on YJ! If you read the description on their auctions it says outright that they will not answer any questions in regards to the set. That restriction is very odd.

It is extremely odd. Makes me somewhat wary of purchasing the sets from them even.

yeah that seller already sold one of his first zoroa illustrator sets , he has sold a arceus illustrator set aswell

i mean hes trying hard to sell it for $350 =$400 with fees and all to usa
and ive seen on eon ebay go for $350 aswell i believe.

Oh not this again...

Every time this topic shows up there is always a large debate.
Some say 10, others say 100, others say in between that.
Let's just say there are over 10.

Try not paying over $500 for a set, though it isn't unheard of to pay $100 a card either.

There are definitely more than 10 but no one knows for sure what the number is beyond that point. It always turns into pure speculation.

Until some sort of release information is provided, it will only be speculation on the exact amount.

This is a description from a reputable ebay seller:
"The best design for each of the 10 magazines was chosen and their design was made into a Pokemon card. There was only 10 winners chosen!!!! Each of the 10 winners received one complete set of the 10 designs made into Pokemon cards. So, there is ONLY 10 OF THESE SETS MADE!!!!"

P1:The best design for each of the 10 magazines was chosen and their design was made into a Pokemon card. There was only 10 winners chosen!!!!
Okay so 10 designs were chosen and there were 10 winners of the contest.
P2: Each of the 10 winners received one complete set of the 10 designs made into Pokemon cards
So each winner got a set. This doesn't mean those were the only sets made.
C:So, there is ONLY 10 OF THESE SETS MADE!!!!
Some information is missing in order for you to draw that conclusion...
It just puzzles me that there are a number of sets here in the states and that half of the supposed 10 sets are currently for sale. That tells me that they are not that highly valued.

I personally have seen over 5 for sale on Y!J alone. There are 4 on eBay right now. I know of at least 3 raw in the hands of collectors. There are 2 PSA sets.

EDIT: Checked the POP reports. There are 5 sets (a mix between 9s and 10s) and 1 extra single.

Yes, that looks like Brianjapan's original description. Upon initial release it would be logical to think there were 10 sets awarded. In present time, we have seen more than 10 in circulation.

If the seller on YJ! continues to list the sets, then it will be almost impossible to understand how many sets actually exist.

At least half of the sets you see circulating are from that same seller. The seller also has information that would help us determine how many sets exist. That seller literally and figuratively •_•)( •_•)>⌐■-■(⌐■_■) holds all the cards.
