This card is commonly used as an example of how bad Call of Legends is as a set expansion, but I can honeslty see this being featured in a fun league spread deck with kyurem, Feraligatr, Kyogre, fliptini, and DCL as a finisher. It'll never win anything serious, but darn would it be fun to play.
 
The arts cool...9/10 for the art. 1/10 for the usefulness. You could put Reshy and Zekrom on your bench, so if its tails, you can power up your pokes.
 
4 for a 50% Chance of doing 40 Damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon or 50% of doing Damage to all of your own Pokémon. Might as well NOT use it then. 1/10.
 
1/10. Although doing 40 damage to all your opponents benched pokes would be nice, it's only a 50% chance. It's also to slow, because it would take awhile to power up.

It's a nice collectors item, though.

First, the good things about this card.
Great for collectors, and it looks pretty cool.

And now the bad.

Horribly slow and flippy attack, mediocre HP for a legendary, really bad retreat, pretty bad weakness, (Pachirisu CL can OHKO this thing in 1 turn. Play Pachirisu, Self-Generation, retreat, and zap! It's kind of sad.) and no resistance means that this card can be
#1: used as trade bait to give to collectors
#2: put away to be forever sealed within the confines of your binder.
#3: used as a wall in limited, absorbing a hit or two to stall for time to set up, except against :lightning: types.
or
#4: used in a crazy spread deck that hardly ever wins but is annoying when it does purely because getting beaten with a card this bad is embarassing.

This card gives Call of Legends and Kyogre a bad name.

When a card makes me think of Thought Wave Machine, it's that the card is worse than terrible.

With Victini from Red Collection you have a 75% chance to succeed, but then it's still bad, and not only because of the 25% chance of damaging yourself rather than your opponent.
I could quote the bad energy cost, the bad HP for a lightning-weak Pokémon, the cataclysmic retreat cost...

Never play this thing. If you really want spread, then use Kyurem.
 
I'm interested in this card when Kyurem comes out...just because in a Kyurem-Gatr deck, whether you get heads or tails, it's still great. Heads=damaged pokes for Kyurem to hurt further. Tails=60 damage Outrage...don't rule this card out just because it's useless at the moment

Obviously, Kyogre with Eviolite and active, with four Ability Serperior and Fliptini will be the deck of the future~ Or at least an amusing one. Just good luck with the setup.
 
Amazing art! Too bad all it is is a pretty card.
HP is good for a Basic, but bad in this Metagame.
By the time the attack is set up, many other spread cards could do so much more than 40. And thats if you get heads!
Set up for this card is about 4 turns. Use Feraligatr Prime to speed this up, but the attack isn't worth it. 50/50 Chance for damaging the opponent isn't the best. And if you get tails, that could be fatal to your Pokemon. Say, a comrade got so much damage that he only has around 1-2 damage left. Bad flip with with card loses him giving the opponent a prize.
I know there is Flipini, but thats months away in the next set (after EP). Lets stick with the present and not the distant future...

Collector: 10/10 The art is amazing and the Pokemon is in shiny form. Great for Collectors. :smile:

Well...

In this format (HS-EP), its horrible. a 50% chance of 40 to yourself is horrible.

0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001/10 in this Format

Next set, with Flip Vicinti, and Kyruem, it could see SOME play, but not much.

About a 5/10 in that format.
 
-10000000/10. who ever made this card must hate pokemon. if it was a 100% to do 40 to all of there bench and 130 hp this card could be good.
 
I want to build a feraligatr flip victini kyogre deck just to see if I could win one game (without attacking with feraligatr)
This hard is horrible. Why would they do this?
 
I could see Victini helping this guy out but even then it would be very risky. It would make a pretty edition to a collection but otherwise no other current usefulness. I give it 3/10 just for beauty and effort.
 
When Victini comes out this card is going to be excellent. No card in history (that I know of but knowing some people on this thread are going to PM a similar card attack) does a 40 damage spread to each pokemon. I'm willing to do two coin flips to get that heads to do 40 damage to each pokemon each turn. Then when he eventually fails here comes Feraligatr with Hydro crunch doing his 100 damage thing to every pokemon played henceforth. He has :lightning: weakness so Zekrom is going to be so ineffective it's SSSSSSSSSSSSSSCARY. Under rated? Not at all, Victini will give it such a boost though that it makes me want to pray.

If you think Kyogre is a cool Pokémon and like spread, use Kyogre Groudon Legend -__- That card is actually good! This card is like an insult to that.
