First!
Bahaha.
I would use the Rising Rivals one. It's a hefty Energy cost, but with Save Sand I would use it over the other. The other is just to Flippy.

1st-6/10
2nd 6.5/10

The risisng rivals one for sure... wait I have tried it out and might go back to it... I used it with a Machamp Prime deck with junk arms and engineers adjustment... discard the energy, then save sand for more damage then the first and get the energy back, the fighting tag and have 3-4 energy on the machamp prime quickly... I don't know why I took it apart since this worked way better than the donphan prime I have in the deck now !

1. 5.5/10
2. 6.5/10

Today's CotD is Hippowdon from MD, 1 of 2 usable Hippowdon (and it's a tad inferior to its RR cousin). Statwise 100 HP is nice for a Stage 1, +20 Weakness to :water: is meh, no Resistance is common, and :colorless::colorless::colorless: to Retreat is pricey. Vacuum Sand deals a basic 20 and netting you a :fighting: Energy from your discard, all for no Energy (though sadly it doesn't deal stacking damage like its RR cousin). That, however, is solved a bit by his next attack, Sand Impact, which deals a base 50 for :fighting::colorless::colorless: and lets you flip coins for each :fighting: Energy on him, dealing an additional 20 for each Heads.

Modified - 3/10 (The RR version is much superior, though I suppose this is usable in a pinch if you're using Hippo Lv X as a tech)
Limited - 8/10 (Solid stats and attacks, good for any :fighting: deck)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here, bad attacks and vulnerable to so many things)

Second one has a better hp, has a pokebody, has a resistance, and a better second attack.
First one has a better retreat cost and a better first attack. Also better art!
But really the first one is too flippy and lacks resistance for some odd reason
I'd go 5.5/10 for the first one
7/10 for the second one for the awesome body

I'm trying to figure out how the MD Hippowdon has a better first attack than the RR one?

it's pretty good but lost world is comin out 5/10

But really, the RR Hippo is superior. His Body + Groundquake puts you at 100 damage to any Basic Lv.X. I suppose it could be paired with Champ Prime, but it is pretty slow..

6/10
