Why is this card good?
Posted with Mobile style...

Because it supports alternative win conditions (milling, Lost Zone) in addition to supporting slower set-up decks, which every sensible player of this game thinks is good.

I say the card has potential to be ALRIGHT. But, otherwise, eh. Full Art is cool though.

5/10

Could be a turning point for a game but I mean if you've got like 5 prize cards and your opponent only has 1 you'd best make sure he don't knock yours out anytime soon! You've still got FIVE more to go! That's plenty of time for your opponent to recover his or her hand and continue his smack down on you unless you drew something really good and his bench is nearly wiped and you're able to win by knocking out any available pokemon he has left.

I wouldn't add it to my deck but perhaps those with brillant strategies and combos could see a better use. I can't give it a proper rating since I can't really see how to use to this card to win but it's around a 5-7 for me.

The card goes very well into slower decks that plan on being behind in prizes like vileplume.. goth..... but imagine your opponet has taken 3 prizes . now they draw 3 and you draw six. its a way to slow them down when you have fallen behind, and just how judge can kill you or your opponet late game, so can this.... Another good use for the card is if you atwch their facial expression when they eeeek or so, you can obviously use this card to shuffle their good hand away.

One of the nastiest cards ever printed.

Your reward for completely dominating an opponent and racing to a 5 Prize lead? They get a PONT and you get put on topdecks for the rest of the game.

I've got mixed feelings about N.

I don't like the way it can work as a crutch for someone who has been outplayed, but I acknowledge it's worth as an aid to slower set up decks.

Good card, but I'm not sure it's good for the game.

8/10

10/10 for decks being able to use it. Although I have to agree with Baby mario and also give it an 8/10 for the game

I'll go 5 out of 10. The card does not hurt anything with Magnezone in it plus this format has way too much draw in it and decks that are fast are the ones hitting for 120 every turn or scoring cheap KO's, so chances are you won't be living the next turn at 1 Prize left for your opponent.

Back when Rocket's Admin was around, we had EX Pokemon so it was more powerful then. In most cases now, Twins is far better then N right now. PONT is also a better source or shuffle draw.

I see it working in decks like Goth or any Trainer Lock because they need to fall behind to setup in most cases. Judge is just a better option.

EDIT

I forgot to say we have Pokemon like Cleffa and Manaphy to shuffle back so if you need a new hand, you can get one. Just ether too much draw and shuffle cards or better options for it to be good right now.

8/10 was the score for the card. This shouldn't be earning 10's. 10's is for perfect. Personally, I wouldn't score anything other than Energy as a 10 in Modified.

For the game I give it 4/10 at best.

8/10

While not the perfect Supporter it has plenty of uses. In matches between two powerful decks, or mirrors it can be used to clinch the game, killing their draw, when you have everything set-up to get your final KO in the coming turn. Fantastic for disruption decks, and has reasonable crippling effects for mid-late game.

Unfortunately it's hard to explain how good it is if you haven't seen it used effectively before, but it has game changing potential. However it isn't Steven's or Castaway (which would be amazing for this set), but still a nice card to have back again. :thumb:

Art: 8/10 for normal and 9.9/10 for Full Art (only way it could be better is if it were Mizue or ex era Ryo Ueda)
Unlimited: 4/10 Matches don't last long, and Admin is still usable, so it isn't as useful here.

Well this card would be good in a pokemon ex deck or a legends deck because they take two prizez when they knock out one of your pokemon. And its good with beeyem that is comeing out in hail blizerd

8/10

If you 'outplay' your opponent and get nailed by N, I personally think you're the one who was outplayed. He who laughs last, laughs best.

8/10

Strong mid/late game card.

Well, I was talking about decks that can really utilize this card, as a 10/10 for them since it will help them tremendously. And for the 4/10 rating for the game, why so low, I know it isnt the greatest card for the game but it isnt that horrible.

Today's CotD is N from NV, a throwback to good old Rocket Admin from a while ago. And it still will probably strike fear into its opponents, hand disruption at the right time can really mess with an opponent, and combine it with the fact you draw cards based on how many Prizes you have, it can be really damaging when played right.

Modified - 9/10 (Easily leapfrogs into the hand disruptor of choice imo)
Limited - 10/10 (Eh why not, at worst you'll just likely use it to get yourself a new hand, at best you can dump that 1 card tech your opponent has back into their deck)
Unlimited - 2/10 (Not as good here compared to some other options)

Anyone who doesn't think this card is any good, either didn't play when Rocket's Admin was around, or wasn't very good. Rockets Admin had a HUGE impact on the format, and I expect this will as well.

Youre always so careful with calling anything imba etc but you complain about this :/?

I think its great that players cant just blindly race for prices anymore without having to worry about any backup plan. If you want to draw prices t1-t5, go ahead, but better make sure you can seal the game then.

8/10 bbrilliant card, its a judge that helps you setup in the early game, it still lacks the potential of early game disruption
