Slowking.....This is not the Neo Version that literally was banned year's ago...

With all the Darkray in play, this card is not that effective. It's two retreat cost is high and it's second stage with only 90hp, in the current format of large point basics and Ex's makes it harder to get out and stay...

In league Fun Deck 9/10
Modified Format 4/10
Unlimited 2/10

it would work very well if you are using stevens advice in your deck, as it gives you a lot of cards, with no limit. although it is a little expensive to use that strategy because it needs 3 energy and a trainer, so id say not bad if you had a sure fire way to get the requirements.

6/10
good strength but slow setup.

Soo...yeah...since I'm so infinitely far on catching up on old ones, time for mini-micro reviews! (and yes, I did just make up that term ).

So, 6/3 we had Entei EX from DE...well no one runs it, it has bad attacks despite the decent EX HP. Add in the fact :fire: decks are on the decline and it doesn't outdamage staple Reshiram anyways, makes it even more pointless. Modified 1/10, Limited 9/10, Unlimited 1/10.

6/4 gives us Jolteon from DE, another pointless evolution. Shame Eeveelutions are kinda bleh nowdays, as Eeveelution decks were always fun. But yeah, this Jolteon offers nothing better :lightning: Pokemon like Zekrom can do, nor does it have any supporting Ability to justify its use like Eelektrik. Modified 1/10, Limited 7/10, Unlimited 1/10.

Stoutland DE was our 6/5 CotD, which tries to be good, but ultimately has attacks that cost too much for the damage they do. And given the rise of more :fighting: Pokemon, it is easily OHKOed by them. Modified 1/10, Limited 7/10, Unlimited 1/10.

6/6 was Dark Claw from DE, another card that along with Dark Patch, makes :dark: Pokemon and decks great. A permanent +20 damage in addition to any Special :dark: you toss on makes it a must-use for those decks, and it can be retrieved with Junk Arm so you don't have to run the max number. Modified 8/10, Limited 9/10, Unlimited 2/10.

Finally for the closed ones, we had Bisharp from DE, the :metal: variant. Not really that good honestly, it's a classical vanilla beatstick, and :metal: hits nothing notable in this metagame. Not to mention it's easily OHKOed with its low 100 HP. Modified 1/10, Limited 7/10, Unlimited 1/10.

And now for this CotD, Slowking from DE. Much like Bisharp, nothing special to really warrant running it, it just doesn't really do anything other than being decent in Limited. Attacks that cost too much, too slow to get out, too low HP, etc etc. Modified 1/10, Limited 7/10, Unlimited 1/10.
