Playable Charizard?

Nope

Artwork?

Meh

HP is great for a stage 2 and the attacks are powerful but this card isnt good in a format with Mewtwo.

2/10

I think Keldeo is a bigger offender than Mewtwo. Charizard never had a chance :( HP is high but attacks and retreat are pricey. Charmander and Charmeleon offer some options via Celebi but evolving to a Stage 2 manually is just too slow and having a low HP EX sitting on the bench is too risky.

4.5/10

I think that if this was an EX card, it would be useful. Attack cost is a bit much for a regular Stage 2 Pokemon....

when you say EX can we assume you mean a basic pokemon with 170-180 hp? if that is so then i agree to an extent. the water weakness is a killer with keldo blastoise being so huge, but it OHKOs any non ex besides itself, and OHKOs several of the ex pokemon out there. this card could be huge in a format with no keldeo or catcher.

This card can be playable, you just need to run mewtwo EX as well as Shaymen EX

then it only has one weakness... Sableye

This card is never used for it's 2nd attack Scorching Fire. It's too slow to charge. Just use it for Split Bomb and team it with Celebi to use Charmeleon's Raging Claws. Both attacks take only 1 Fire and 1 DCE. Basically you can start off Split Bombing your opponent. But once there's a fair bit of Damage Counters on it, use Raging Claws to get the quick and easy knockouts. It's HP of 160 is very high, so you don't have to worry about it going down fast unless your opponent's Pokémon is a water type like Keldeo. And the other great thing about the High HP, is that it makes Raging Claws stronger. So you can use Charizard for its high HP and Split Bomb. Then use Raging Claws to get the KO's on your opponents Pokémon faster. And why not even use a line or 2 of Dusknoir? Split Bomb for a couple of turns, then use Sinister Hand to move those Damage counters around and take KOs without attacking yet.

Has Potential/10

Remove a colorless energy cost for each attack and make it a EX, it'll be a good card.

Remove the colorless from each attack and leave it as a non-EX card= good.

Making it an EX card does absolutely nothing except give your opponent another prize card...not sure how that's helpful.
