You mean Sceptile GE

but yeah this card isn't very good but it has great artwork!

Great HP for a stage 1
Good weakness right now
Bad attacks with no grass energy accel in the format.
Heavy ball searchable
Good resistance

5/10

no grass accel? what do you call shaymin ex??? BEST STARTER EVER!!

all jokes aside, i agree. even if good grass accel existed, keldo ex would still be better. more hp, more damage in comparison up to 5 energies attached, only at 6 dose this card do more, great ability, basic. the only things better about this card is it only gives 1 prize and its main attack only costs 1 energy.

No, if Grass types got ANY love in this format and they got some good acceleration or swapping as most do, Tangrowth would do well. As is, obviously not. But I find it funny when people compare it to Keldeo seeing as this card would be an AMAZING Keldeo/Blastoise counter. Maybe the day they give us a Virizion EX, Grass types will have some perks.

the only reason this card is compared to keldo ex is because the way the attacks do more damage is similar: the more energy the more damage. as is, i agree that this would be a great keldo counter, but to be ran in this format to counter keldo/blastoise it would have to be a basic. a 2-1 line at the minimum would be needed, were as if it were a basic it could be ran as a single tech.

EDIT: 3 sets from now we will get a genisect focused set, this means ether more metal or more grass (bring back duel types?) ex pokemon. grass may become viable
