2012-2013 Points structure?

So we are about a week away from this season's 1st Battle Roads. Any indication when the points structure for the new season will be announced? As League Leader and TO Im getting alot of questions about this that I cant answer. If BR are going to a non-points system then I feel we need to know that pretty soon for those that are making travel/work arrangements to attend other BRs that are a couple hours away.

There is no way it has always appeared on September 1st. Two years ago it took until January for the Worlds qualification information to be released.

I hope this is not the case. There are BRs scheduled for Sept 1,2 this year.

ExoByte reports that the structure has changed. There will not be a Top X system, but rather a set point cutoff, and everyone who gets the points is invited to Worlds. Below is the link.

I seriously doubt that will happen.

For that to happen, Pokemon would have to set the bar WAAAAY too high. And if they just took a look at the numbers from this past season, they will be able to carefully set the bar at the right spot

they seem to like having less people at worlds

expect a 60 point requirement people

I think that hosting Worlds in a convention center is a sign that Pokemon is expecting the biggest Worlds ever. I expect (given that the point totals remain the same, which we already know they won't so...it's all relative) a 50 point cut-off.
