The 2014 New Mexico Pokémon State Championship is coming!!!
There will also be a Pokémon New Mexico VG tournament (see details below)!!

Time: ---->Registration begins at 8:00 AM (Registration ends at 9:15 AM). Player meeting begins at 9:30AM.
MASTERS/SENIORS:
50 minutes +3 (Best 2 out of 3 Swiss games).
JUNIORS:
30 minutes + 3 (Single game).
ALL Top Cut Finals will be single elimination 2 out of 3 match play (75 minute time limit). This is a one day event!

The Main Tournament (Swiss rounds) can last 5 to 6 hours.You must be in the registration line with your decklist ready no later than 9:15AM or you may receive a first round loss or not be allowed to enter the event.

All POKÉMON PLAYERS:
There are TWO links below....the first one is for ALL players, ALL Age groups to Preregister for the event.
The second link is for any players of any age group who want to reserve and GUARANTEE themselves a VIP package. This is a separate $15.00 charge for this. If you preregister and decide not to reserve your VIP package online, you cannot get one in the Preregistration line on-site, you will have to stand in the Non-Preregistration line on-site to have a chance of getting one. They may be sold out online before the event. It is better to reserve it now as there is a very limited supply.
Masters: You need to click on the first link to pay the $15.00 preregistration entry first and print out the bar coded confirmation THEN click on the second link (it will look very similar) and pay an additional $15.00 for the VIP package and print out the bar coded confirmation—this one will say VIP Package on the sheet.
Seniors and Juniors: You need to click on the first link to preregistration first (Your entry is FREE) and print out the bar coded confirmation THEN click on the second link (it will look very similar) and pay $15.00 for the VIP package and print out the bar coded confirmation—this one will say VIP Package on the sheet.
ALL Players who want to reserve a VIP package MUST Preregister first.. I have some people who are NOT doing this. I will refund your VIP package money in 48 hours if you have not registered for the event. You CANNOT get a VIP package if you are not Preregistered for the event.
This past weekend I had a VIP package in Arizona States and after everyone reserved their package online, I only had 8 left to sell onsite and they sold to the first 8 people in line. I would suggest not waiting to maybe get one onsite but to preregister and then click the second link to reserve your New Mexico Playmat and pack NOW! They will go very fast!

To reserve a VIP package for $15.00 -- You MUST be a pre-registered TCG player and you must show up at the event to pick up your own VIP Package. Picture ID will be required.
Please read this before reserving your VIP package: I have ordered a limited supply of these playmats, once the 1st batch is sold out, I will open up another link for more playmats. However, I cannot guarantee the company who makes them can have the 2nd batch of playmats in my hands before March 22nd. If the 2nd set does not arrive in time and you are from New Mexico, I will get the playmat and pack to you at another event. If you are from another state/country, I can mail it to you and will collect a shipping charge and your address from you at the State Championships.

**If you registered and played in the TCG event earlier in the day, this League Challenge is FREE for you. All age divisions! All others, the entry fee is $5.00 cash or $5.25 Credit Card.

Pokémon Video Game Tournament
Time: Registration begins at 5pm (Registration ends at 5:5pm).
Players must follow rules (see below). Players must have 4-6 Pokémon in their Battle Box ready to play. Each player must submit a team sheet (see Team Sheet, attached document).
You may only use your X or Y game! Bring your DS with X & Y game! (Charge your DS prior to the event)
IMPORTANT VG Players! This will be a 4 vs 4 DOUBLE battle tournament!
Cost: $10.00 Cash or $10.50 Credit Card Entry Fee
PRIZES:
For each Age Division:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th place: Cash prizes to be determined by Attendance. The more players we have, the bigger the CASH PRIZES will be!!
Players must have 4-6 Pokémon in their Battle Box ready to play. Each player must submit a team sheet (please email for the sheet, they will also be available at the event).
Standard Format Team Rules:
Pokémon must be in a Kalos Pokedex.
Each held item must be unique.
Pokémon may not have the same national Pokedex number.
Pokémon must be native to Kalos (Indicated by a blue pentagon in the Pokémon Summary)
NOTE: Your Pokémon MUST meet all 4 of these requirements!
In Double Battles, each player selects four Pokémon from his or her party of six to battle with. At the start of the battle, players send out the first two Pokémon in their party, making a total of four Pokémon on the battlefield. Game play continues until a player makes all four of his or her opponent’s Pokémon faint.
Only Pokémon X and Pokémon Y Game Cards or downloadable versions are permitted for use.
Players may only use Pokémon from the Central Kalos Pokédex from #001 to #150, Coastal Kalos Pokédex from #001 to #153, or Mountain Kalos Pokédex from #001 to #147(you cannot use Yveltal, Xerneas, Zygarde, Mewtwo or Blaziken).
Pokémon must be placed in the Battle Box.
Pokémon are allowed to Mega Evolve.
Pokémon above Level 50 are permitted, but they are auto-leveled down to 50 for the duration of battle.
Players may use Pokémon with Hidden Abilities.
Players may use items that have been officially released via Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, the Pokémon Global Link, or an official event or promotion.
