So I went to SoCal Regs this a couple days ago and too 2nd with Gengar/Machamp. It was a very long day, like 14 hours. Anyway here's my matchs...

Round 1 vs. Toxitank w/Mightyena & Honchkrow

This should've been a pretty easy match, but my Uxie was prized so it ended up taking a long time to set-up. Luckily I ended up winning.

1-0

Round 2 vs. Dialga G

This was pretty fast, I set-up well and took out his Dialgas before he could get his Toxicroak out.

2-0

Round 3 vs. Dialga G again

Unlike the last game this one took a while, but I ended up winning 3-0 in prizes.

3-0

Round 4 vs. G Toolbox

This was really easy. He never saw his Toxicroak so he never could KO my Champs effectively.

4-0

Round 5 vs. Mirror

He played Crobat Gs and Poketurns and I played PokeBlowers. The Crobats ended up winning him the game because they hate Claydol and Uxie.

4-1

Round 6 vs. G Toolbox again

Quick win. I set-up way better than he did.

5-1

Round 7 vs. Strange Shaymin/Crobat G thingy

Well he didn't have an Unown G until like turn 7, so I just donked all his Shaymin with Champ and sniped his Claydols with Gengar.

6-1

Round 8 vs. Kingdra

I made a misplay T1 and lost because of it.

6-2

Top 16 vs. Porygon Z

Game 1 went to sudden death which I won and then time was called, and I won.

Top 8 vs. Beedrill(madhatter)

I expected this to be a tough game, but he flipped tails on all but 1 of his SSUs and I flipped heads on all my Gengars so I ended up winning 2-0.

Top 4 vs. Machamp

I won game 1 pretty easily, then I made a misplay game 2 and lost, and then game three came down to me Polgergisting. I needed him to have 3 in hand, and he had like 9.

Finals vs. Toxitank w/ Honchkrow

Game one I made a huge misplay an lost, I did end up taking 3 prizes though. Game two he started with Toxicroak and Skuntank, and I started with Baltoy. needless to say I lost.

Oh well. Anyway I'm really happy with my placing, I was honestly gonna be happy with a top cut. I'd also like to give major props to the judges who did an amazing job there. Also thanks to Josh(madhatter) for my decklist.

Props

It was on a boat
Pokeblower+
A contest where we threw paper airplanes at our TO for stuff
My box having Dialga G X in it
Having 3 people from Nevada in T8 and 2 in T4
Doing 480 to Toxicroak G in Finals

Flops

Crobat G in mirror
Misplays that cost me games
14 hours of playing

I was very tired, so I don't remember most of what went on during the games lol. And thanks.Hope to play you again.

doomsday24 was our scorekeeper, and a very fine judge in his own right (Lancaster man). When the scorekeeping died down, he came over to help out/watch. A just reward after wedging his head in the computer all day on our behalf -- some sweet matches in T8.

BTW, I really liked the sportsmanship, fun and great play in your Smith v Smith T4. You guys were great.
