Just a quick heads up to all the Norwich Battlenet players and the honoury Battlenet players (I'm sure you know who you are!) The third annual Battlenet Championship will be taking place in September. The last two years have produced some of the most exciting and intense matches I have seen with local bragging rights up for grabs! Shaun Banham took the honours in our first year and our good friend Justin Kempley scooping it a year later! Who will get the honours in 2007? Details to follow with prize support!

hmm mayb possinle comback tourne lol i aint touched my cards since nats so will probs crash and burn dont even know the new rules lol best be studying lol

I'd be most dissapointed if I didn't see you there Bruce! We would all love you to pick up your cards again and show us why you're Norwich's No.1 !! lol

Ok, the moment you've all been waiting for, the announcement of the date for the third annual Battlenet Championship! *ahem* 9 September. Doors open at 10.00 Because of the date, the tournament will be in the new format i.e. Holon Phantoms onward ( this will include Diamond/Pearl 2 if it is released in the UK in time and TPFG gets the stock!!) This tourney will also be FREE as a thank you to my loyal Battlenet players and to the few honoury Battlenet players who have supported one or more of my tournies ( Justin, Zoe etc.- you know who you are!) Because of this, it will be invitation only (as usual) Even though it's free, this tourney will also enjoy prize support which I'm hoping will include Diamond/Pearl boosters! Any questions please email me at [email protected] or see me at league on Friday evenings!

Just confirmed, Diamond/Pearl boosters for our Battlenet Championship!! And even better- a selection of Pokemon plushes!! Yeah!!

The tourney is held at Battlenet in Norwich, but it is a purely invite only annual event as it is a free event to thank the players of Battlenet for their continuing loyalty and support. Thanks for your interest.

Just a quick reminder to all my Battlenet players, this Sunday (Sept 9) sees the 3rd annual Battlenet Championship open to all Battlenet players and some "honoury" Battlenet players. This is a free event which WILL have prize support in the shape of Diamond/Pearl and Dragon Frontiers boosters and Pokemon plushes "yay!!" Doors open at 10.00 Play will begin 11.00 sharp!! Aiming for an end time of 4.30 Shaun Banham won it the first year and our friend Justin Kempley took it the second year. Will Justin retain the title, will Shaun regain the title or will we have a new champion? Watch this space!!

A Battlenet player is one of my players who regularly attend the Battlenet pokemon league held at Battlenet in Norwich and who play in my tournaments. This is a free event to thank them for their support and loyalty throughout the year. Believe me, local bragging rights are important! Also a few "honoury" Battlenet players that have supported some of my tournies in the past i.e. Justin Kempley, Nitish etc are also invited, but it is an invite tourny because there is no entrance fee and it is to thank people for their support!

P.S. The end time is likely to be about 5.30 and NOT 4.30. Thanks!!
