I was pretty disapoitned about going 4-2 last week at Indiana and missing the cut. So I built a few more decks but I was most comfortable with playing Palkia/Dialga again. I made a few changes and decided on that.
btw, im horrible at remembering names
Round 1 vs:??? w/ Gengar
I start with btonzong and just attach to dialga pass for about 4 turns. I eventually get a Poke turn out and put it back in my hand and send up Dialga and level up. I start to remove lost, then next turn corbat and uxie. He was completely shocked by him not being able to flip for uxie. He has 60 damage on two of my mesprits and uses the other gengar to ko both of them and get it down to 1-1 on prizes but I ko'ed it the next turn. GG

Round 2 vs: Justin Williams w/Regigigas
I get a decent start and deafen mesprit lock him. I get a pretty big lead but he manages to come back and at one point I can come back but I have 13 cards in my hand and only one of them was a suppporter. He Gigablaster's and discards my Roseanne's I scoop after that. GG

Round 3 vs: ??? w/darkrai
Long story short, I started deafen mesprit locking him instantly and kept it up and he never took a prize. GG

Round 4 vs: ??? w / AmphyManectric
I've been wanting to play against this deck since I heard of it being built and finally got the chance. I had the perfect hand, but sadly I had to go first. I attach and pass. He plays some stuff, next turn I start the deafen lock with Mesprit. He has a three card hand on his turn and tries to play an uxie but I had played a mesprit last turn so he was unable to use it. He never had a chance to draw into anything and I 6-0'ed him. GG

Round 5 vs: Ryan w/speed Magnezone/Rayquazza
So we sit down and introduce each other and laugh at how I can't pronounce his name as there was a million letters in it after Ryan haha
My oppening hand was terrible. He even mulliganed at least 3 times. I had active a Dialga g, two dialgas in hand, a Palkia g, 2 Poke turn, 2 Water Energy and a Basica Metal.. I go first attach and pass. He opens with Magnemite and Rare candy's it to magnezone, Rare Candy's another magnemite on the bench to a Magnezone and has a Baltoy and Rayquazza on the bench. But he has a lack of Energy which gives me a chance to come back. I eventually take the first prize which is a key Looker's. I play it and shuffle my own garbage hand in and it wasn't close after that. I mesprit/Power Sprayed everything after that and he had no hand at one point and I won from there. GG

Round 6 vs: AJ Deloye w/Dialga
Going into this round we both knew it was going to be an intense game. We both had kinda bad starts and deafened each other for a while. I got a lead on prizes pretty quick but his multiple Dialga's were able to get him back into the game. I was waiting for him to ko a crobat so I could Night Maintenance it back in and Bebe's for it so I could put ten damamge on his Bronzong and pick it off with Palkia G lv. x. It never happened and he got it down to 2-1 on prizes in my favor and time was called on my turn. GG

So I know I'm in top 8 and arrange my deck and wait for Justing Williams to finish and epic sudden death game against Gengar that he somehow won. Good job!
I go in as the 4th seed hoping that I could miss the two Machamp decks that made it in, oddly enough, I get to play one of them!
Top 8 vs: ???(I really need to write these names down) w/ Machamp
Game 1: I go second in the first game and was hesitant to attach Energy Gain to Dialga as I could've attached an Unown G, but I know I have to stop him from getting a first turn machamp. He starts with an active Azelf and attaches a cyclone to hope to delay me but I promoted a Crobat and retreated it on my turn. I continued to Deafen Mesprit lock him for seven turns, ko'ing his Azelf and he scooped. I'm in shock I was able to pull out a win against this.
Game 2: This game is really fuzzy as it was one of the longest matches of the day. I get some prizes early keeping up with his fast start. He eventually comes back to make it 3-3 on prizes. All I could do was Poke Turn my Dialga g x or Palkia g x after he raged and put 100 on them. He had a benched Machop with energy on it and I was worried he was going to rare candy ko me if I were to ko his active Machamp. I can't find my last poke turn and am forced to promote a heavily damaged Bronzong and he just knocks it out and wins the game on time.
Game 3: We end up going into sudden death and they tell me you only lay down 1 prize which is pretty ridiculous if you ask me, anyways. I go second and open with Dialga g and Energy Gain Deafen his active Uxie. He attaches a Cyclone and I'm forced to promote Palkia G. I have an Energy and a Crobat in my hand, all I need is a Poke Turn to win the game to get Palkia out of the active slot. I play the axelf just to get it out of my hand and play another Energy Gain on Palkia G. I rosseane's for an Uxie and play it for about five cards. First card I drew was the Poke turn. I play it, promote Dialga g attach play Crobat and Second Strike for the win.
T4 vs: Dan Richards w/ G toolbox
Game 1: I have a decent start and start to deafen for the first five turns and slow him down and try to get some G pokemon on my bench but an unable to because I had to play Azelf to get Dialga G lv x out of my prizes. He eventually ko'd my Dialga with Houndoom and I responded with a Crobat Palkia kill and he responded with a Pachirisu, I scooped after he ko'd it.
Game 2: I get basically nothing but prolong the game. I realize that I don't have enough time to take 4 prizes and just scoop as I'm exhausted and making many many misplays.

So I end up getting third which I am happy about. I get to bring home some glass!
