    When: Saturday, July 26,

Tournament: 4:30 ish until we have a winner!
Where: The Nelson's Back Yard: 1517 12th Street NE, Auburn WA

Deck Format: HIGHLANDER, Ruby Saphire On. There can be only one. With the exception of basic energy, you can only use one copy of a card in your deck, as defined by the artwork. This includes Pokemon, Trainers, Supporters, Stadiums, and Special Energies!

Restricted use of Pokemon: All Pokemon must be :water:WATER:water: type. Dual type are allowed, but one of the types must be :water:WATER:water:. In addition, common and uncommon :colorless COLORLESS :colorless pokemon allowed.

We will have a potluck style dinner. Please bring something to share.

    for info on Cason, see

Is this going to be a single elimination tournament?

Yeah, count us in. I think just the 3 of us this time. I believe June has made "reservations" already but... she is still insisting on somehow playing the spidey(go figure) See ya at the end of July

No, but if it was, guess what would happen to those who were eliminated? Time for a swim buddy.

    Are fossils legal this year?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Okay, but, seriously,......are more than 4 of the same named Pokemon allowed in a deck (different pictures, of course)?

Yes, all the fossil cards are legal - but if I remember correctly there has been no change in the artwork on any of them.

No, you must still abide by the maximum-of-4-cards-of-the-same-name rule.

    Woo Hoo!

Just a reminder to our swimmers: Kids must have a parent near or in the pool in order to swim. :thumb:

PLEEEEEEASE!!!!! Tell me this doesn't apply to Chris  I really don't want to sit by the pool all day. Maybe someone else can keep an eye on him for me

Ben is almost 18. Maybe he could be the responsible adult....

I think Ben should watch over Chris versus the other way around

Can I use older reprints than Ruby Saphire?

No. There are plenty of cards to choose from in the 'Ruby Sapphire on' format.

Maybe someone should be watching after our hostess. It seems that last year she almost landed in the pool due to a wild Raichu.
