Sup everyone. I just got back from and AMAZING day. I had probably the most fun I’ve ever had at this tournament as I faced a low record, and going from 2-2 to 7-3 to finish. Needless to say, I was happy
So after states, I was disappointed in my showings with LuxChomp, with and overall 9-5 record. So, being discouraged, I decided to test out LoxChomp, and did decent with it. In the end, I decided that I would go with a tailored LuxChomp list (at the end). Sadly, I won’t be using LuxChomp again Sorry, not gonna work anymore. So, I get there, and we form our amazing TEAM SANTA! We sign up for the Team play event. Well, lets get to the report.
R1 vs. Machamp/Umbreon
Well, I wasn’t happy. But, I got a pretty godly start, and managed to set up an Uxie X to kill some key machamps. In the end, I just Bright Looked and Dragon Rushed for my last 4 prizes.

R2 vs. LuxChomp
I let him take the first prize so I can use Twins to grab 2 DCE. I end up getting 4 DCE in my hand and Dragon Rushing over and over again. Eventually, its 2-3 Hayden, and he says time is called. So we play +3, and i am unable to take a prize. Yet, after the third turn, both Garchomp C X’s were back online. So, I lost, but, apparently time was NOT called. I was all like

R3 vs. Machamp/Umbreon
I was all like D: But, I didn’t let that discourage me, as I jumped right online and Dragon Rushed everything. She eventually got machamp, but with no energy. I bright looked and Koed it with Uxie X, Lucario, and Bat for game

R4 vs. VileGar
Opened with Luxray six trainers to his Tomb Gastly start. I lost.

I’m considering dropping at this point as I am EXTREMELY disappointed in myself. But, I decide to continue.
R5 vs. Random.dec
Luxray X swept through a couple of his basics and in the end I won.

R6 vs. Jumpluff/Blaziken
No joke, this deck is really good. But sadly for him, I open godly with Cyrus, Call, Power Spray. I spray and Uxie for 7 and sweep with a belted Luxray.

R7 vs. LuxChomp
This game was intense as we both have rather good starts. We trade prizes in the Garchomp war, and it gets to 1-2 me. He has the win with 2 Dragon Rushes, but out of my 2 card deck, I topdeck DCE to kill his Chomp with Draggy for the win.

YESSSSS!!!! I did it. Then I am informed that 1 5-2 will miss cut and im liek I look at the standings and Im 16th! Im like, wow. My bud Liam W. missed cut 5-2 in 17th. Sorry bro, better luck next time.
Top 16 vs. Jozef w/ Scizor/Umbreon
Yes, he was 7-0 with the deck.
G1: It gets close, as I dont focus on Scizor or Umbreon, and just snipe and BR stuff till we get to 2-2. He pretty much has the win with a Belted Scizor with 4 SPecial betals. I realize this, then, I see a belted Umbreon on the bench, and I get an idea. I BR the Umbreon, DCE BElt Luxray X, Flash Bite, Junk arm Poke Turn and bat again, and then trash bolt for 90 and the game! WIN
G2: Not close, I get another godly start and t2 Rush an Umbreon, and then BR up and Trash Bolt kill a Belted Scyther. So it ended and I won 6-0.

Top 8 vs. Kier w/ VileGar
G1: I donk his Giratina with a Bite, then a Trash bolt next turn. WIN
G2: He god starts me, and gets t2 double gar an plume and I scoop to save time. LOSS
G3: Not that close, he gets a good start but I T2 Rush his Gloom, and Luxray up stuff and Dragon Rush while he cant seem to get a Plume. I win 6-0.

Top 4 vs. Koichi w/ LuxChomp
G1: I annihilate him as he has a terrible start and spray everything then Impersonate Lookers his great hand. WIN
G2: I fail as he just sets up like crazy while I’m lacking. LOSS
G3: Gets down to 1-2, but I belted a bat in order to set up for 7, and that ends up killing me as he proceeds to Luxray it and while I do get the Promocroak, his snowpoint temple tech won him the game. LOSS
7-3, 4th Place
I was very happy with 4th place, as it was way better than I expected.
