Can i ask, why isn't it 11/9/2005 instead of 9/11/2005

Typically in america we do MM/DD/YYYY.

meaning month, day, year.

It happened in the 9th month, on the 11th day.

I don't get it, you remember a tragedy by playing Pokemon TCG? It just makes no sense to me at all, in fact it seems to be INSULTING if anything.

I can c y there doing one. 9/11 was a bad event in the history of the world and i can understand that they don't want people to forget it, but as pokemon affects a lot of ages, it will help to keep the memory on.

vappy In the USA you do it as MM/DD/YYYY. In england we do it as DD/MM/YYYY.

The reason we are holding this as a memorial is the fact that a lot of kids will play in this and as such they can be a part of this memorial. If a normal memorial is held then it would go above a lot of kids heads. This way it can be brought home to them the enormity of the event and they can be part of our two minutes silence that we will be observing. (Mods can you please move this to international- thanks!)
