Many people will question the Zong over Claydol. But Zong is so much better for this deck than Claydol. Especially early in the game if you can't draw into a Felicity's. After a Uxie drop it'll keep up with Claydol builds. It might even outspeed then by having Energy in the discard first. I've yet to see a Blastcatty list use Call Energy and wondered why? It improves consistency so much.
Kyogre is really the "secret" tech here, another thing lacking in Blastcatty lists. It doesn't have to be Kyogre but any tech in general. When you have energy acceleration it's a good idea to add a tech to catch your opponent off guard.
