UPDATED ONCE! =D

I have no clue how stage 2 decks are to be built. I've played stage 1s and basics forever...and one time, a bad PLOX list. PLOX is the only stage 2 deck I've ever built for tourney play (and it sucked at every one...), so I'm focusing on that for now.

Pokemon: 26 (OMG that's a lot)
1 Gardevoir Lv.X SW
2 Gardevoir SW
1 Gardevoir PL
1 Gallade SW
3 Kirlia SW
4 Ralts PL
1 Dusknoir DP
1 Dusclops (I only ever need 2 Rare Candy, and I rarely use them)
1 Duskull SH5 (it's 5, right?)
3 Spiritomb AR
1 Honchkrow SV (Gyarados Format lol)
1 Murkrow SV (Expert Belt movement FTW?)
2 Claydol GE
2 Baltoy GE
1 Azelf LA
1 Unown [G] GE

Trainers: 22 (OMG so little)
4 Roseanne's Research/Collector (I like Roseanne's, though... Just Telepass the rest and get Energy with Rose; BTW, more Rose because I want my Spiritomb out quick)
3 Bebe's Search (I Telepass the rest and evolve with Spiritomb)
2 Team Galactic's Wager
1 Palmer's Contribution
2 Broken Time-Space
1 luxury Ball
1 Premier Ball
4 PokeDrawer+ (I recognize that this is contradicted by Spiritomb...but yeah)
2 Rare Candy (I always used BTS to set up, and that is prolly the most popular stadium in the format. I rarely used this and I get quick set ups always; even with lists like these =O)
1 Warp Point
1 Night Maintenance

Energy: 12
5 Psychic Energy
3 Double Colorless Energy
4 Call Energy

I think I need Unown [Q] or Moonlight Stadium for the Honchkrow.

As many of you could see, I'm the best at stage 2 decks, and this is the list that will win Cali and Nevada states. The best, amirite? I wanna see what people here could possibly do to make this better.

I find this so appropriate in the context of your other recent postings.

On topic, running anything less than four DCE is silly. 4 Call 4 DCE 6 Psy.

Cut the crap with Pokedrawer. Just because you are a senior doesn't mean you have to build decks like one. You even admit they're bad with Spiritomb as a lead.

Drop the Premier Ball. You have one Lv. X you could possibly grab. Just Telepass a Bebe's for it, or use your own Bebe's.

Max your Bebe's count.

Get some Belts in there.

Get some Moonlight Stadiums in there.

I'm just going to keep posting my list into these threads.

4 Tomb
4-3-2/1-1 Gardevoir
1 Gallade
1-1-1 Nidoqueen
1-1 Azelf
2-2 Claydol
1 Unown Q
1 Unown G

4 Roseanne
4 Bebe
2 TGW
1 Palmer
3 Belt
3 Rare Candy
1 Lux. Ball
2 Moonlight Stadium

5 Psychic
4 DCE
4 Call

This is a good skeleton. I'd like another rare candy, but I also like Nidorina.

lol@prodigial_fanboy; don't bash Seniors. I'm just terrible at any stage 2 deck list (As you could see, I felt 12 Energy was the right amount, and I felt Premier Ball was good for the fast recovery). ^_^; 'tis why I posted here. Either way, are you stalking my posts? =O

Thanks for the list. A question would be if the Broken Time-Space would fit in here, because I've played the deck with them, and the search and draw for this deck just makes the evolution line so simple to get out. The issue with Azelf is also hurt by Gengar (Shadow Room and Level Down), so what should you be doing to get past Faining Spell? (I realize Psychic Lock prevents level down, and Azelf's attack places Damage counters) Also, why do you not use Night Maintenance?

I'm also just curious if the Honchkrow would fit at all (Gyarados), and why Moonlight is so important. Is it for Psychic Connect to save Energy? ;f

This will hopefully be a better list. ^_^;

Pokemon: 26
1 Gardevoir Lv.X SW
1 Azelf Lv.X LA
2 Gardevoir SW
1 Gardevoir PL
1 Gallade SW
3 Kirlia SW
4 Ralts PL
1 Dusknoir DP
1 Dusclops (Any notably useful?)
1 Duskull SH5
4 Spiritomb AR
2 Claydol GE
2 Baltoy GE
1 Azelf LA
1 Unown [G] GE

Trainers: 21
4 Roseanne's Research
4 Bebe's Search
2 Team Galactic's Wager
1 Palmer's Contribution
2 Broken Time-Space
1 Moonlight Stadium
1 Luxury Ball
1 Expert Belt (On popular demand :thumb:)
3 Rare Candy
1 Warp Point
1 Night Maintenance

Energy: 13
5 Psychic Energy (I've been told that I should worry about my basic Energy count and run at least 6; should I?)
4 Double Colorless Energy
4 Call Energy

On the topic of Broken Time-Space, should I just hope my opponent uses it and take mine out? XP

If you are going to use Honchkrow, use the MT Murkrow with Reaper Cloth so you can evolve and use Honchkrow's Power on that turn.

If you don't, then as soon as Murkrow hits the Field, the Gyarados player will just use Collector and fill their bench, making Honchkrow a bit useless. I know you run Dusknoir to deal with that, but are you really going to have the Bench room for all those tricks? Claydol/Honchkrow/Dusknoir/Azelf X/back up Gardy SW/Gardy PL/Gallade/retreated Tomb . . . deck is trying to do too much and won't be consistent.

I would drop the 2 BTS for another Wager and another Belt.

True dat, but they use Broken Time-Space as well as I, so it'll be in play quite often. I use the SV one in case of a threatening Pokemon with Expert Belt or such. =\ Just in case...

Against Gyarados, I'd only use the Dusky and Honchy, and against CURSEgar, the Dusky and Azelf. Opposing Dusknoir would really hurt...so what would you suggest doing?

Why is everyone disagreeing with BTS? D=

Sand Wall.
With one double colorless, Flygon can knock out your stadium and prevent all damage done to it.
Max out the rare candies, and don't heavily rely on stadiums.

...

Moonlight Stadium is a stadium, too... XP I don't plan on using the stadiums against Flygon, though...

What should I do about the stadiums, though? Use both, or just one, and which? I'll max out the Candy, sure, but I wanna know what the issue with BTS is

I don't run BTS in my plox. Moonlight stadium makes it faster, actually. You want to retreat 'tomb w/o attaching energy or an unown q. You also won't get much out of BTS if your op. has a spiritomb active early. It also helps you retreat a damaged garde or gallade far easier.

But Gallade doesn't benefit from Moonlight... D=

Also, I'd rather sacrifice Spiritomb as a prize because I like the bench space. ;f That and if my opponent uses Dusknoir, I'd be easier to recover what I need if there's a turn I don't Psychic Lock. XP

IDK; I'll try the new list with the BTS taken out and 1 Moonlight and 1 Rare Candy added. I hope it'll work ^_^;

I never like sacrificing a prize because sometimes all it takes is 1 prize to lose. True, gallade doesn't benefit from moonlight, but there's always garde's x teleport, warp points, unown q, ssu, etc....
