For the later EM 06-07 format, could lunatone LM work alone as a starter? simple: play holon mentor/great ball, then play w.e evolution search card and wam in the rare candy you just searched for?
 
lunatone is great grabbins transceiver to grab mentor or candy.

consider that admin will no longer be a problem and there you got the next definitive searcher (unless MC brings a new admin or a new dunsparce/jirachi).

what? magcargo and pidgeot are not touched by lunasol in any way.... they affect powers and they have bodies! (i'm reffering to magcargo uf and pidgeot Delta from HP since we are taliking EM-on and there are no other pidgeot or magcargo in this format).

Why are you referring to that when you know perfectly that I meant HL-on? Are you trying to make a fool out of me?

He wasn't making a fool out of you:biggrin: , its just the topic was about em-on technically we should assume that you were refering to em-on,

EM-on format 06-07

since legend maker has been released after EM it's a relevant starter.

it's like say in a topic titled HL-ON that dunsparce is better than plusle since it can paralyze and search for 3 basics.


i repeat: it's cookie's topic and it's said in first topic and in title....
i think he is wondering what will be the better starter in the next format....

it's a legit question and i think it will be lunatone (legal in EM-ON format) since there will be no admin (so no risk to have transceiver or candy shuffled back in the deck).
Solrock can be there but i don't think unless there will be very good colerless and red non-ex with poke-power......
 
LM Lunatone, by itself, could work. However, I can only really seeing it work for such a period of time...

Remember, we will get good Pokemon-searching Pokemon again once Miracle Crystal comes out.

If anything, I would say LM Lunatone with this Holon engine that many people use could work. 1st attack for a Transceiver, use it next turn for a Mentor.
 
tauros will be a very good starter!

2 basics search, 70 hp, ability to destroy stadium....

nice and usefull card!
