So, after about a month of talking my parents into it, I was finally given permission to go to the Georgia Marathon
Cheryl Kidd, Josh and Danyelle's mom, drove my best guy friend Bobby and I to Georgia. I payed for all of the gas and part of the hotel, Bobby helped with the hotel.
I don't really think anyone cares about how fun it was, giving Ness wake up calls at 4:30 AM, etc, so I'll just skip to the report.
Oh, and here's me, texting at one of the tournies. Danyelle is next to me

Day 1 - Some card store in Newnan
I play luxray/garchomp
Round 1 loss to speedrill. Emily Hibbs. Ambipom g and chatot start. Prized 3 cyrus. Took like 6 turns to get set up. Would have won but she dropped 2 plus powers.
Round 2 win against machamp. TJ Sawyer. Sprayed unown q to prevent donk. Trapped Uxies until he was forced to send up machamp with roserade gl. Zen blade KO and flash impact ko on lone machop.
Round 3 win against Shuppet Donk. Spray his immediate uxie. Win on time, play it through for fun, aarons luxray, bright look bat g for ko game.
Round 4 win against salamence. Drag up sally with 4 energy and kill it. Spray claydol 3 times while bright looking bagons and killing them, then kill claydol. Take last 2 prizes with uxie x killing his expert belted uxie.
Round 5 against gechamp. Win. Topdecked candy champ takeout. 3 take outs later he flips heads. Desperate, baltoy to draw 2. Kill. Trash bolt kill uxie game.
Round 6 vs seena dialgachomp. Win. 6-0 him. He forgot about sunyshore but i didnt matter much, i only had 1 prize left. He scoops.

Day 2 - community center
I play sp toolbox
Round 1 win vs blaze/blaze. Spray his uxie, weavile 1-shots everything with a special dark and an expert belt.
Round 2 loss to dylan bryan. Crap start, got trainer locked all game. Curse kills my weavile g. Warp wins him the game, as he can kill anyone on my bench.
Round 3 win vs colt. He nearly double donks me but I topdecked 2 pokes and then a roseanne. Roseanne for mewtwo and weavile g. Level up and expert belt the mewtwo, he scoops.
Round 4 win vs heidi craig. Gyarados. I start special dark on honchkrow and kill her sableye. Next turn i kill her. Magikarp. I kill another sableye the same way. KO gyarados with a mewtwo and expert belt. Ko uxie with drifblim, then bring mewtwo up for another ko on gyarados. Very nice player, very fun game.
Round 5 win vs Robby. Shuppet! My mewtwo X is prized and I started with azelf. He double blowers mewtwo and kills it the turn after I get it out of prizes. I use drifblim to get my last 2 prizes. Weavile walling ftw.
Round 6 vs Justin Sanchez / therage. Lady GaGa. I wall with mewtwo x, psyburn for 2 prizes. One on unown g, one on Sableye. Giga burn garchomp c. Need aarons the whole game but it was my last prize. Recover keeps healing my mewtwo x, shafts him hxc. Win on time, I should have lost. Sorry buddy.

I play gengar/spiritomb lock
Round 1 - Travis - Lady GaGa + Manectric
I set up decently but he bright looks my claydol and kiills it due to expert belt. I looker myself to try to get my azelf to get my gengar x out of prizes to level down the luxray and shadow skip it for ko but I whiff. I keep his trainers locked and force him into submission. I Compound pain his claydol and he can't do anything. Gg.

He can't do much all game. I keep my hand down to around 2 cards and keep him trainer locked until I kill his chatot. Shadow skip keeps him locked and kills 3 pokemon. Compound pain and 2 crobats kills his guarded baltoy, then I shadow skip his nidoqueen with an expert belt and a crobat for game.
Round 3 - Dylan Bryan with mirror.
Mirror. We trainer locked each other for like 6 turns getting set up. I make the mistake of dropping a stadium, allowing him to relicanth for 90 dmg. I eventually make a desperate warp point move, but he sends up claydol instead of nidoqueen. He uses warp energy and kills my uxie for game. :/
Lossssss.
Round 4 - Harrison - lady gaga with dialga tech. He can't draw into anything while I keep him trainer locked. Shadow skip and level down kill his pokemon one by one. Sorry dude
Round 5 - Emre - Gechamp
We start about evenly and I take a prize with shadow skip, keeping him locked. He uses relicanth to snipe it, gaining two prizes. Poltergeist kills the relicanth. After a few prize trades I flip heads on fainting spell, killing his machamp x. I then kill his claydol with a crobat and relicanth. GG.
Round 6 - Carson Roll - Ampharos/TTar
Autoloss anyone? I got stomped. Ttars 1 shotting gengars with nothing for me to kill is ridiculous.
Top 8 the same thing happened. Carson Roll owned me. I'm putting an azelf x in my deck for tomorrow...

I play gengar / spiritomb lock
I'm playing gengar again, but this time I have 2 lookers, turns, candies, and 1 azelf lv x. Bing saved us cause Cheryl is directionally retarded.
Round 1 vs dialga/slaking
Keep him locked While killing his dialga g, then snipe his claydol for 90 with relicanth and he scoops.
Round 2 vs Matt Thompson with blazeray.
I start strong and keep him locked all game. Level down + belted shadow skip kills 3 of his pokemon. Shadow room takes my last prizes.
Round 3 vs. Keith Haas with dialgachomp
Same last name again!
Trainer lock kills his only usable cards in his hand. I take 4 prizes off sacrifices, then use shadow skip and curse for my last 2 prizes.
Round 4 vs. Dylan Bryan. Lossss. Gengar.
We both start strong, but I prize an unown g. My claydol was unguarded so he killed it and I couldnt develop my field after my nidoqueen went down. I had to keep my bench to 3, knowing he runs dark palm noir, which gave him quite an edge.
Round 5 vs. Jim Roll/JRWaxMan with gechamp
I get a gengar x out and kill his claydol asap, but he shadow rooms to knock it out. I kill a gengar with crobat + uxie + belt while I get my queen out. His relicanth snipes my claydol for 90, and next turn he amnesias my poltergeist, hoping I dont have an energy for queen to kill it...but I do. I try to relicanth for my 2nd to last prize, but I mistaked and counted his devoluter as a tool, so I only do 30. He drops an uxie, hoping for a way to kill relicanth, and whiffs...I only had 1 trainer in my hand anyway, however. I snipe his uxie with a crobat, then finish off his spiritomb for game. Gg man, youre a friendly guy.
Round 6 vs Orion Craig with blazeray losssss
I can't get anything out. I had the worst hand ever. :/ My pokemon go one by one.

Game 1 he had a horribad start and couldnt do anything through my trainer lock slaughtering all of his pokemon.
Game 2 he starts much stronger than I do, and I skip trainer lock and go for stormfront gengar. We trade prizes, he picks things off of my bench, and eventually I am able to curse to his luxray gl x and shadow room it for game, he only had one prize left. Good game mang.

Both games go the same way. I'm 1 energy attachment ahead of him the entire time. We keep each other locked, but my field is crippled because I need to keep my bench to 3 because I know he runs noir. Shadow skips go by, and both games end with me killing claydol after an expert belted queen.
Top 2 vs Emre with GeChamp. Win.
I keep him locked the entire game with a series of shadow skips, he has crap hands both games and fails to even pose any threat to anything on my field...gg mang, sorry.

Hes got the game after killing 3 spiritombs and a claydol. I realistically cant lock any more but I level down his luxray and dark palm his benched garchomp c. A few shadow skips gets me tied on prizes. He ends up dragging up baltoy to take his. 5th prize, but level down behind a spiritomb followed by a shadow skip ends the game.
Round 3 vs Dialga/Garchomp
He drops 3 special metals and gets a crazy set up the first 3 turns. After a compound pain for 2 prizes, he removes my 2 psychic energy and kills me...I just scoop

RULE TWO OF POKEMON: BEAT VIC!
I start and try to get set up but he gets a bebe turn two and bright looks claydol to get around my spiritomb. I try to cosmic twice but both are met with power sprays. He kills claydol and I bring up tomb to evolve my benched baltoy. I get a cosmic off after he kills the tomb, and I shadow skip his absol g x. I candy into dusknoir and dark palm his benched luxray gl when my turn starts. Shadow room KOs his uxie x. Next turn I curse to absol g x and level it down for ko. He has 3 prizes at this point. Next turn I level down his luxray gl x and shadow skip it for ko. He gets a few things in play, I skip for another prize, and looker his 10 card hand into his deck. He doesnt draw what he needs to trap my claydol up, and he scoops.

I poltergeist his lone toxicroak g for 360 for game. Sorry mang.
Round 6 vs Harrison with random sp stuff
He gets a super fast kill on my haunter and claydol even through a spiritomb lock, royally screwing me over. I can't do anything.
I end up placing 7th.

Miserable loss. Game 1 I have a slow start so I just scoop. Game 2 he always had a response every time I killed something, I scooped.
Day 6 - The Gaming Pit
Round 1 vs Carson Roll with gengar
He has a pretty mediocre start but I kill his first fs gengar with an uxie + belt. He uses a lot of resources to get another out but I warp point + dark palm it. I take a few prizes with shadow skip and the game is sealed.
Round 2 vs Matt Alvis with Dialga/Garchomp
I get a t2 fs gengar with an expert belt and poltergeist his dgx for ko. He has 5 trainers, 2 of them being sprays. I don't use powers the next 2 turns so he can't get rid of them, so I score 2 more poltergeist KOs. He kills me with garchomp x and poison. I push up spiritomb and set up cursegar and shadow skip for another prize. Trainer lock screws him over and I get down to 1 prize. He earthquakes my azelf. I need to level down his garch x and shadow skip it for ko. I looker his spray away but he draws another. I cosmic and whiff the warp for game. I use my second claydol and hit it off my last caArd. I can kill anything on his bench...gg.
Round 3 vs Aaron Curry with sableye/honchkrow gengar counter.
4 spiritombs die in 6 turns. Then azelf dies. I get to 1 prize with shadow skip and dusknoir but he uses mewtwo x and a belt to kill my belted noir.
Round 4 vs Stephen Silvestro win. W/regigias
Silvestro was running regigigas but he couldnt get set up because he prized all 3 bebe and couldnt use trainers. I get gengar set up and he scoops.

Round 5 vs TJ Sawyer with shuppet donk. Loss.
Im yet to lose to Tom. Shuppet is a great matchup for me but I couuldnt lock him or get a queen out til the end of the game. :/

He cant do anything vs my spiritomb lock. He locks up my spiritomb but is behind on prizes, even though my warp energy is prized. Neither of us can move so my prize lead wins me the game.

Game 1 I go first and get an energy advantage. He fails to get shadow skip gengar out to return my ko. He desperately uses hypnosis on haunter and I flip 3 sleep tails in a row. This buys him some time but its not enough and a series of shadow skips takes the game.
Game 2 is pathetic. Bobby cant get anything out and I easily shadow skip my way to winning.
Bobby is probably my best guy friend so winning actually felt bad

Game 1 he tanks me hardcore and I just cant get enough damage on the board.
Game 2 I play very quickly as he tries to stall me out. Time is called on his turn while Im 1 prize ahead and he cant take a prize.
Sudden death should have been mine. I poltergeist to try to ko his dialga g, and hit it for 60 plus crobat, but my expert belt allows his topdecked roseanne to get skuntank g and poison me and second strike for the between turns ko. :/
I shouldnt have dropped the belt. One misplay usually loses games.
We hit a kentucky city on our way back to wisconsin. Lexington. I built luxape 20 mins before the tourny and forgot poketurns but still pulled a 3-0 drop.

Game 2 I play very quickly as he tries to stall me out. Time is called on his turn while Im 1 prize ahead and he cant take a prize.
Sudden death should have been mine. I poltergeist to try to ko his dialga g, and hit it for 60 plus crobat, but my expert belt allows his topdecked roseanne to get skuntank g and poison me and second strike for the between turns ko. :/
I shouldnt have dropped the belt. One misplay usually loses games.
We hit a kentucky city on our way back to wisconsin. Lexington. I built luxape 20 mins before the tourny and forgot poketurns but still pulled a 3-0 drop.
