Accelerate to 80: Is this how you play?

Scizor with honeycomb defender has an attack for:colorless::colorless: that may do 30, but if you knock out the defending your basically safe. So, if a player adds the cherims that add damage output for fire & grass pkmn (which are stackable), lets say 3 on bench would bring scizors accelerate up to 60. Then you add expertbelt, adding 20 to health and attack. So now your @ 80dmg constantly. Then add a shaymin lvlX to your bench. Let me add.... that would be 160hp!!
Is there anything else im missing? It sounds like this deck may be slow, but everything is only 1 stg/lvl higher, in order to achieve this. So theoretically, you could get all of it out turn 2.
Is this how you scizor fans play? becuase you'd have very few weakness'. Besides the norm. But im just trying to grasp that. Then if you decide to do more damage on scizors other attack, none of these pkmn have powers, so for :grass::grass: you could do (adds up) 120dmg! something to behold meh thinks!

thoughts?

i think that this deck plays the best w/ straight scizor alone, the point really isn't to get accelerate kills, it's to get fast kills and swarm at the same time, using quick ball, dusk ball, poke ball, bebe's, great ball, and many other search cards to get it out.

i can see that it has speed but i tested this deck day and night w/ my buds for about 3 weeks druing last year. straight scizor is the fastest one, outspeeding and destroying any other scizor build by having a scizor out 100% by turn 2 due to the extra room.

Ashinto is right. The straight scizzor is many times faster, more than making up for the fact that accelerate is only hitting or 50 (with expert belt.) It simply takes to long to set up 3 cherrim, even if you use powers, which will make pound down worthless. Scizzor is a speed/swarm deck. As it is, the Diagla match up is already against you, relying upon cherrim makes it an auto loss:pokeball:

i was actually discussing this like 5 minutes ago or something rather. since there is already a thread on it, might as well post in. i think that having cherrim is good, but the terrible cherrubi start can kill the game for you. scyther start is already not amazing.

as far as that goes, accelerate for 50 when needed but pounding down for 70-90 consistent for 2 is really good. also not that hard to get going with ball enging you dont need much powering up.

the dialga matchup isnt that bad to begin with cause your 2hko it all day. only problem is the deafen which they will have to stop if they wanna kill you... i mean they can deafen for 10 turns, but by then you have 2 scizors on the bench, and the second they lift that deaf lock you just got nuts with your trainers and stuff...

but im just playing theorymon... lol. and of course you always tech md scizor to hit stuff for 100 for 1 lol

Are you planning to make a Scizor/Cherrim deck?

There are many ways a Scizor fan can play this deck.
Just deciding to use Shaymin Lv.X already makes the two versions quite different.

I personally disliked using Shaymin cause I found it took too long to level it up
(considering it has to be active first before it can level up).

I like to go for the fast kills using Pound Down, and then Accelerate whenever I can.

I had to throw my 2c into the deck, well, i've been testing it for 3 months.

4 crobat G
4-4 Scizor
3-3 Cherrim
3 spiritomb
2 Uxie
1 Uxie Lv X
1 Unown G
1 Chatot

4 expert belt
1 department girl
3 cyrus conspiracy
4 poketurn
4 pluspower
2 bucks

4 upper energy

just parts of the deck

play it normally but focus on accelerating, this way you CAN play powers. Lock with tomb until it dies, then drop the expert belt with crobats and pluspowers to ohko anything and then be immune. Cyclone energy gives basically free prizes, The deck is seriously sick and it will play at states, I guarantee it

^i'd do the crobat g's only if i had the poketurn in hand, to risky to loose 40 damage over one drop

I've never thought about playing Scizor/Cherrim as a straight up "Accelerate" deck.
I might think about this.

Would a Claydol line work??

Of course, but it would be alot slower imo. Lol I just leaked a SD

I prefer the 2-1 Uxie, but I guess it all depends on your metagame. If there's alot of SP and power spray is everywhere, use Claydol, 2-2 works well with 1 Uxie.

Hopefully Scizor Prime will help this deck out immensly, I heard that it's a beast but can't confim it

Prime cards are in no way special besides the fact that they are called prime cards. Because their names are different, you can run 4 of each the prime, say Feraligator, and the normal Feraligator:pokeball:

Actually, the names are the same. Feraligatr Prime, for example, is simply known as "Feraligatr" on the card and thus is the same, to the game, as any other "Feraligatr" card printed.
