Yeah. The new Drifblim kills Mewtwo for just :psychic::colorless:, and has a ridiculous DGX/Steelix/TTar counter for :colorless::colorless::colorless:. Free retreat and colorless resistance is icing.

OBJECTION! However it is awesome. You can kill Mewto then take one of their Pokemon with you. Perfect to get rid of Steelix primes.

I'm looking forward to shuffling DGX's. I might even run Luxray with this since it has free retreat, in order to Take Away my opponent's deck engine.

However .... mockery can get you infraction points though. Let's not go there.

Ha! I didn't mean anything by the almost identical title. Just thought it would be humorous. But I do like this card a whole lot.

This card looks....fun. :D Can't wait to see the look on my opponent's face when there DGX with 4 special metal is shuffled away.

Interesting card.

Which drifloon would you guys reckon is better to evolve from? MD (60 hp, useful attack) or Shiny (Free retreat)??

Heh....I pulled Drifblim at the Prerelease, and so I threw it in my deck for the lolz. Turns out, it won me 2 matches, 1 by shuffling away an almost charged Raichu Prime, and another by shuffling away their last pokemon

The only downfall to driftblim is that it can't surprise attack. However many basics with abilities that let you evolve the first turn are rotating. It works pretty well in Luxchomp. You already run psychic, and it gives you the edge on Dialga that you lost when they gained energy exchanger.

@Happiny: Drifblim can surprise attack by Galactic Switching an energy over and then attaching from hand. Much in the same way that ERL techs were/are used in LuxChomp.

I haven't tested much w/ it but I think it could be great. Swinging for the auto KO on Mewtwo and being able to, for only an additional energy, shuffle in a tank like Dialga, Gigas, Steelix, T-Tar, etc. is pretty solid, but like I said, it needs to be tested.

It can't surprise attack without a BTS in play. If the Mewtwo player sees a Driftloon on your bench than it is not a surprise attack.

I really don't think so. Once they have more than one basic on your bench you're screwed. It's a tech, not a top-tier card.

meh, easier sniper from garchomp (only 1 crobat drop), no draw pokepower.

you make a good point about DGX counter though, if it gets big it might work pretty well

I'll run it in my D-Chomp. I'll use it against any deck with a Pokemon that takes more than one energy to attack just to be mean.
