Alakazam 4 X - Your thoughts?

least Power Spray does have its weaknesses. Say I thought you were going to quit Pokemon lol

Alakazam 4 Lv.X is one of the most powerful cards imo, but as already said, OHKOs kill the strategy. Alakazam by itself is a terrible attacker, and most mainhitters for those decks have a common weakness.

Luxray is weak to fighting, so even with Unown G attached, it has problems with Machamp. Infernape has water, and Kingdra and Palkia will still be around. Palkia has Lightning, and I predict Luxray to be one of the best decks, so it's OHKOed without problems, while Luxray also laughs about Splash Turn. The only thing that has a big of staying power is Dialga - but still, Fire will be more common. Dialga at least can survive almost anything else with Special Metals, making him the ideal partner for Alakazam.

And then the SP player drops a Skuntank G, drops a stadium, brings up Toxicroak G, attaches Psychic and Gain to Toxicroak, and Deep Poison pwnages your Uxie X:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I think Palkizam maybe good next format w/the Stadium that makes all SP's -2 RC, also Flygon won't be as popular (hopefully).

I think that Zam 4 X is a great card that opens up a lot of combo oppertunities with other cards. I mean, just look around. There are quite a few SP pokemon with high HP or that just scream PLAY ME WITH ZAM PLEASE PLEASE! Turtwig SP is one for example. Or even in some other SP deck. Bench a Gyrados G, move all your damage to it, and if you want, poketrun it and start over again. I just wish that Zam had a better attack. lol.
 
I am actually testing my Dialga-Zam deck, and let me just say it is a BEAST. I mean, your opponent puts a few damage counters on you, damage switch to something like Bronzong, Poketurn, rinse and repeat. It works really well with ~3 level maxes and about 2 switch and 2 warp point. I've gotten kazam x on my bench and already started deafening T1.
 
Zam is a very viable tech and it turns off many options in the meta game right now. Flygon is, however the most notable problem it faces right now, not ignoring Ape's ability to burn it down with minimal problems. (And yes, he can get to Zam.)
 
At first I thought this was the best out of the set but the more I think about it and the more it is discussed I am changing my mind.

Mespirt & Gardivoir SW would also give this thing a fit rendering it useless.

Proof, you sound so sure, do you have access to time travel?

Alakazam and Darkrai are my FAVORITE Pokemon so I'm probably going to end up making a deck with both of them, some how I'll make it work....
If that doesn't work, I always have Gengar from SF.

Yeah i like this idea to, but you need a Manetric out or else its close to autoloss once they get Flygon Lv.X out
