Here's another attempt at making a really good Expedition Alakazam deck... (I don't even remember how many variants of E1 Alakazam I've made since 2002...)

"Alakazam, yet again"
5.4.04

Pokemon: 23
4 Abra (E1)
4 Kadabra (2 E1, 2 E3)
4 Alakazam (3 E1, 1 E3)
3 Zigzagoon (EX2)
3 Linoone (EX1)
3 Wobbuffet (EX2)
2 Dunsparce (EX2)

Energy: 16
4 Rainbow
2 Double Rainbow
10 Psychic

Trainers: 21
4 Oak's Research
3 Elm's Training Method
3 Master Ball
3 TV Reporter
2 Switch
2 Pokemon Reversal
2 Mr. Briney's Compassion
2 Oracle

Quick notes:
~I decided to try out Linoone as a backup in this version again. I believe I've tried it before also. This is one of the easiest ways to pull Rainbows from your deck besides Oracle.
~I think I'm going to try no other basic Energy than Psychic. Most Pokemon in Modified anymore do not really need too many of any particular type of Energy. This means those 4 Rainbow and 2 Double Rainbow have a good chance of working well enough to not really need other basic Energy. (If I had more than 2 DRE, I would definitely use them.)
~Finally, it looks as if I've gone a bit overboard with searching/drawing stuff. That may very well be so, but I do not know for sure unless I test it. All I know is speed is crucial with Alakazam.

Post your thoughts/ideas please. :)

YA! i use a deck like this too, its brought me good times...i use a mightyena (magma) with this. it provies as an anti-psychic and anti-ex. this is a FUN deck to play with.
