Nope yanmega forces you to use up like 5 or 6 spots that are used for deck disruption, it's also destroys the consistence of the deck as terrakion is rarely ever ohkod first turn, and you can get a bad start with yanma and will make you have to play to get the same number of cards in hand which you don't have to do without him.

Since when is a free retreat basic a bad start?

I saw your list posted on the community lists on playtcg, and im glad you posted, because otherwise i'd have no proof I played it before it won states =p....

I ended up winning 5 games in a row on there and after losing to CMT tried tossing in some mew.....that didn't help. so i trashed it in favor of mageel.....shoulda stuck with this =p

evolite and crushing hammers arn't needed....

ruin of alph isn't really needed either.

replace with more consistency

What more consistency should I add? Thats 8 slots I'd be cutting. I could see a 4th EXPShare. I'm already running 4 PONT, 4 Juniper, 2 N, 2 Copycat, 4 Heavy Ball, 2 Pokegear.

I really like the disruption that Crushing Hammer provides. Also, if Ruins of Alph goes, I'd probably need a way to 2HKO Tornadus/Shaymin EX when they have Eviolite.

The one card I am really considering cutting is Black Belt. It never is around when I want it, and I usually end up discarding it via Juniper or Junk Arm.

Just wondering, why is there no pluspower in this deck?
No space or is it not needed?

My assumption is that it just isn't needed, and there is never enough room for anything . There are very few instances where doing 100 damage is any better than doing 90. Most common stuff on the board is going to be 60(celebi's, mews), 90(eels), 110(thundurus,tornadus, yanmega), 130(zeckrom), 170(mewtwo), 180(zeckrom EX).

So either 90 is going to one shot or you are going to need two shots and an extra 10 wouldn't matter.

The only place that I could see Plus Power being useful is against Durant with Eviolite and special metal on it.

This deck can never have too many draw supporters, you'll want to play one every turn of the game regardless.....you could through in one dual ball for the heck of it, i had a couple games in a row where i couldn't come across terrakion or heavy ball for the first several turns....

I stand by ruins of alph not being needed (def not 3 at least) since its only useful against decks with Tornadus. And you'll be two-shooting it anyways.

The only time you don't two shoot tornadus is when it has evolite attached....in that case if you attack with pluspower once you'll be able to two shot it. 90-40(evolite+resistance) = 50 100 - 40 = 60 60 + 50 = 110.

lost remover also hurts tornadus quite a bit considering it usually only has dce left on it after a hurricane.

The deck's biggest weakness from what i found is mewtwo with evolite, you can't get around 3 shooting regardless.

How does ruins of alph help? I'm assuming that its for a Tornadus with an eviolite, even then it would be a 2HKO with Pluspower. Although I like it as a counter for skyarrow bridge. I'm not sure why I'm not seeing any pluspowers in there, the odd +10 or +20 damage can get you those cheap KOs, especially if Eviolite is seeing more play, although space may be an issue. Not saying to go all out with 4, maybe 1 or 2 so junk arm can utilise it. For trainer lock you could go for rescue energy or FSL, but its still not favourable, hope consistent damage output is enough. Obviously I didn't win states with the deck, so I'm not an expert, but personal opinion :)

yeah ruins just gets rid of fighting resist and takes out skyarrows, which i mean in all reality doesnt really warrant it a huge spot in the deck as the deck can function without it but its better than nothing and does in face help with disruption which is what the deck tries to do.

And with pluspowers, they arent really that usefull at all, its never changed something into a KO for me except maybe like a basic pokemon. Black Belt does help in here though, you can let a terrakion die and then throw in another powered up one and hit for 130, scoring a OHKO on all big basics without eviolite.

And if someone were too take out the pluspowers and Ruins, what would be some good replacements? up the catcher/remover/hammer count? And i've played this deck quite a deck and come to realize that 4 heavy balls is really a lot and i always end up with about 2 left over after i get terrakions with rescues on them. And someone was telling me that the VA winner was showing his decklist during the tournie and he didnt run any ruins at all so im curious to see his list if anyone knows what it is.

When something called tool scraper I think would be grate in this deck you use the exp share than scrap it and tools on your opponents field and than attach the eviolite
